Hi everyone! In the next couple of weeks tsarapka will present a series of singles in collab with @how2make label. Starting today, we'll publish a single every friday, combinig them into a full compilation by the end of the series.

Sasha DZA — a synthesiser philanthropist, founder of how2make label and truly the big boy of russian electronics, who sounds differently every time and creates new projects on the fly. Similar to us, Sasha loves hip-hop and Max MSP, which becomes obvious while listening through a series-opening single Tsaptsarap~. This is an everchanhing piece of dance electronic music, spiced up with sampled recordings of daily environment to be even brighter.

Senpai doghouse is a Jack-of-all-trades music geek and explorer of virtual spaces who adores experiments. It's believed that tsarapka was created in the image of him.
Stas' brand new single honorable.otaku~ is an anthem for these habitants of Internet-worlds, inspired by breakbeat music. This track is unpredictable, kinda crazy and is constantly building up tension, just like any good anime.

The third week of our ongoing collab series with @how2make label is followed by a featured release!

Mold and @capedzillah make one of the greatest duos of all time, on par with Itchy and Scratchy or Pinky and Brain. Their collaborations are being studied at Berlin University of the Arts and are well known by many pretty much since birth. Duo's brand new single blood~ is a ruthless dance electronics, which is able to shake your brains out and boil even the coldest blood up.

Additionally, we add a hip-hop remix of this track, made by our resident @treyosix!

tsap.tsap018 — Who Is Folia?

The fourth friday of our collab series with @how2make label has come. This time we're cheking out a collective release of two tsarapka members!

@drewangell and @treyosix is a perfect synergy of a "good cop"-"bad cop" dynamic. Both artists adore hip-hop, but each — in it's own way, whether it be Drew's journey into harsh trip-hop catacombs or Treysix' research for a perfect trap formula. Either way, the symbiosis of two, a single paranoid.mango~ is weaven of enthralling dark sound, bringing out suspense and painting intense action-scenes.

Release is also spiced up with a garage remix from @capedzillah.

DrewAngell и Treysix — идеальная синергия, как плохой и хороший коп из криминальной драмы. Поэтому слияние их стилей в новом сингле paranoid.mango~ дает цепляющее темное звучание, нагоняющее саспенса и рисующее напряженные экшн-сцены.

THE VIOLENT RETURN OF THE TSAPTSAPS

The caravan weaves through the Black Lands. The wind blows dust down the wanderers' throats. In their trance state, each of them can no longer know for sure whose thought pops into their heads. Mirages haunt them, vaguely reminding them of events stored in their collective memory. 
A skinny saiga beckons the caravan with the mouth of a woman and disappears into the dust. He may have known where the water was, but that knowledge is gone with him. The desert is devouring - at dawn there will be no survivors. 

In the distance a gunshot rang out. War is closing in on the Black Lands.

dj soundhoe blends mix and sound collage, building a complex personal story through a multitude of finely cut pieces of tracks and immersing the listener in a rare sonic vibe. Her method is audio diaries, the original context of the tracks is obliterated, they all serve as mere objects of her memory.  Her memory is beyond form, thought and coherent meaning. Now it can be yours.

Clear rhythms are coming from the neighboring office building. Somewhere in its basement, a hidden party is taking place. A peculiar guy with a Joy Division bag switches to the next track. "Vlad doesn't hate you at all," someone with a suspiciously familiar face says. Indeed, the star of the Perm local scene generously filling the space with the loudest mix in the history of tsarapka, expressing obvious love. In it, for an hour, the most diverse electronic music intertwines rhythmically: from IDM to Russian bedroom hyper-pop. A joyful crowd fills the dance floor, warming up from the falling January snow.

СЕО царапки @seymourdoghouse и певица туся сделали трек "от тебя", имея ввиду не то сельский дрип-поп, не то мечтательный этериал-транс. Хардкор-маэстро @qulur_tadel подарил ему злость и жестокость московских андеграунд-клубов. А циклоп рока @alex-basian сделал спидап-версию. 

На данном этапе мы уже сами не уверены, куда несется эта песня и какую форму принимает. Ясно только, что бпм скоро достигнет скорости света и, возможно, откроет портал в какой-то иной мир.

tsarapka is a Moscow-based electronic music label/community, working with different kinds of experimental electronics, whether it is a complete deconstruction of already existing material and creative sampling techniques, or coding an algorythm-based IDM. Tsarapka puts emphasis on variety of sonic and live experience, going from Max/MSP granular textures to hard techno DJ sets and switching between tape recordings and trap deconstruct.
