Our next premiere is a track titled 'Shinigami' taken from the 'Shades Of Black' EP by French artist Dahlia, forthcoming on Amsterdam based label Märked.

The Parisian artistt is breaking through the early morning mist of France with his debut EP on Märked, spewing 4 powerful tracks influenced by EBM and a taste of new age industrial techno. 

The EP is a transcription of our soul’s darkness in a different manifestation. Seen as some kind of lucid dream in which there is no way out and where you must face your scariest unconscious facets. Here the key words of self-comprehension are only chaos and despair. Introspection, self-reassessment and courage to face yourself represent what this four-part journey is about. Don’t be afraid to meet yourself and jump into your shades of black. 

‘Shinigami’ literally translates as God Of Death, of which the perception of the contrasting hard kicks and percussion to the leaning towards peacefully designed pad sound would come across as a calm a funeral for your own peace of mind.

Chlär utilises his experiences in sound cultivation and brings to the table a super strong EP full of eclectic textures and pounding grooves. With his ever exotic moods, highly effective rhythmics and exhilarating ambiances, this work marks an important step in his quest for captivating dance floors. 

Opening the package with title track ‘Artificial Supremacy’ invites 
frenzied drum licks alongside further menacing lead lines to take the EP firmly into the peak time hours.

MOTZ is pleased to premiere a new track from Hephaistos. “Genesis” is the third track off the upcoming release 'Red Shell', forthcoming on Carcères Records. Hephaistos tries to capture the raw essence of volatile emotions using a variety of approaches on techno itself. Shaping the time with heavy industrial, acidic and nostalgic rave sounds. For their first vinyl release, Brulée and Deevai have invited Berlin based producer Hephaistos and scottish producer Sluhg. Four video clips produced by Vladimir DMDJ will be part of this new project. The visuals will immerse us into the intimacy of the individual's relationship with himself, admiring his relationship with his body or perhaps testifying to his encounter with the other.
