LowFilter - J'existe !

"I do exist !"

These were the first words spoken after he had forgotten everything, after he thought he was dead, non-existant. No accident, no illness, just a good dose of DMT in bed. Hours went by in that five-minute absence. To forget everything, absolutely everything, and to remember everything back in just a few moments, was a striking experience, removing the fear of death, and exhibiting the lucky splendor of existence. 

Whit his EP « J’existe », LowFilter invites you to an eclectic psychedelic experience, with blues and jazz notes, carried by the rhythmic energies of galloping bass lines and hypnotizing synthesizers of Psytrance.

Ce furent les premiers mots prononcés après qu’il ait tout oublié, après qu’il se soit cru mort, inexistant. Pas d’accident, pas de maladie, simplement une bonne dose de DMT au lit. Des heures se sont écoulées pendant ces cinq minutes d’absence. Tout oublier, absolument tout, et tout se remémorer en seulement quelques instants, fût une expérience marquante, éloignant la peur de la mort, et exhibant la splendeur chanceuse de l’existence. 

L’EP « J’existe ! » de LowFilter vous convie au sein d’une expérience psychédélique éclectique, aux sonorités blues et aux notes de jazz, portées par les énergies rythmées des lignes de bass galopantes et des synthétiseurs hypnotisants de la Psytrance.

I really enjoyed playing the harmonica parts along with Charles and Davie.

I had so much fun remixing Charles' and Davie's amazing music, I am very thankful for that.

Started as a fun idea to revisit an iconic Pokémon theme from my childhood, I ultimately decided to turn it into a fully developed piece of music: "PokeBattle"! 

Having listened to it countless times on my 8-bit GameBoy as a kid, I once again incorporated orchestral instruments and acid synths over a psytrance backdrop, adding a touch of guitar to recreate the originally titled "Trainer Battle Theme" from the Pokémon Red/Blue versions.
