Octopods are one of earth’s most intriguing inhabitants. They come in many shapes and sizes, they’re skilful hunters and the ultimate masters of disguise. They can squeeze into seemingly impossible tiny spaces, instantly change colour and texture to camouflage themselves, or even mimic other creatures like aquatic shapeshifters. Octopuses’ survival is threatened by human fishing activity - overfishing means there’s less prey for them to eat, and they’re often accidentally killed in trawler nets. hello my friends, my family, my mezcal moons. welcome to mix 47. i am so thrilled to be back with a new lesson. in this mix we showcase the peace and wisdom of the beautiful gangaji. her soft voice pairs so well with liquid and the deeper side of things i am honored to introduce you if you haven't already heard her lectures and what her heart has to offer us.

'prayer' in particular is what she touches on here. no matter what religious or spiritual background we come from, we all know the importance and power of prayer. i once read somewhere that if prayer is talking to god, then intuition is god talking to you. both equally important sides of the same coin.

no matter which direction you choose in communing with your god, it doesn't matter if you call it prayer or not. our faith in our ability to connect with our natural higher source that lives within us is the vital lesson here. the vital action. 

when we go deep in our meditation and ask for things, when we write our goals and desires down, when we practice manifestation and visualization, when we kneel knees down, when we wish for certain events and outcomes, when we simply have hope in a future we want to create for ourselves. these are all forms of prayer. 

as i sit here writing this, i can attest how powerful prayer is in my life. all my life I've been an artist, I've been a creator. i have stacks of notebooks on notebooks on notebooks that I can read now, and in retrospect, I can now see I am living the life I always dreamed about. what ever it is you want to do, what ever it is you dream of, you can do it. there is nothing in this world you cannot do. I truly believe this. 

interestingly enough, half way through my bikram yoga session today, the message i received by "intuition" was that I can accomplish anything. and if any of you have ever practiced bikram hot yoga, you know it can be rather brutal to say the least....yet so rewarding.

believe in your self and believe in your source. don't be afraid to talk to god, or the tao, or the universe. talk to that energy always. engage with it. make it a part of your everyday life. you don't have to wait till things are falling to pieces before asking for help. yet as we all know in the moments of suffering and desperation is when we're closest to that spirit. suffering is grace. but so is the ordinary mundane of routine. invite the tao in on all levels. 

i pray you find prayer.

TS is a Drum & Bass producer and DJ from Chemnitz, Germany. In 2008 he got in touch with Drum & Bass at multiple locations in Chemnitz. After just two years of listening, he started to get active on his own and began as a DJ to express his own feelings and moods. After joining FreeMindRecords in 2013 he started producing in 2014 and soon releasing his first EP on C Recordings early 2016.
