WHERE WE GOING

My story started in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a two bedroom apartment in Ardsley Loop, Starrett City. Sharing a room with my older brother and younger sister. We were different and it wasn’t easy for us; being that we were raised as Jehovah’s Witnesses in the middle of the hood. Music was my only muse. Every morning I would dream of being a rapper or famous just to escape my own reality. This song was written from the view point of me in ten to twenty years looking back on all the accomplishments I’ve made and reminding myself that “ Nigga We Just From The Slums”!!!!
