I am thrilled to present the exclusive premiere of TAMA's new track "Dual" from his upcoming EP "Chasma," set to be released on Predawn Records on the 28th of June 2024.

Hailing from Stuttgart, Germany, TAMA is an electronic music producer, known for his live performances. He co-runs Predawn Records with Laima Adelaide and Nils Edte, pushing the boundaries of deep ambient techno. His music reflects the harmony between synthetic and natural elements, creating immersive soundscapes.

"Chasma" is a journey through rhythm and relaxation, crafted for the dancefloor. "Dual," the heart of the EP, connects earth and sky, blending deep, hypnotic beats with sophisticated textures.

Nachtblumen Premiere: TAMA - Dual [Predawn Records]

The seventh Various Artists release on Mary Yuzovskaya’s Monday Oﬀ imprint arrives on vinyl in October 2024, with Yuzovskaya, Viels, ORBE, and D-Leria contributing tracks. It follows ‘VA Vol. 6’, which featured Blazej Malinowski, Michal Wolski, Xhato & Milena Glowaka, and won support from artists like Chris Liebing, re:ni, Gigi FM, and more.

First up on the record, Italy’s End Of Perception founder Viels conjures up a storm with ‘Nero’, a cerebral cut with crushing, low end-heavy atmospheres and mysterious alien signals. It is followed by Spanish techno lynchpin and Orbe Records boss ORBE, whose hypnotic ‘Rigging’ explores the abyss with foreboding sonics and a continual beep sequence that guides the track forward.

On the B-side, Monday Oﬀ label head Mary Yuzovskaya presents ‘Trouble’. A masterful bassline and bodied kickdrum starts the trip, providing an excellent foundation while alternating between rattling percussion, deep dub hits, and strangely familiar but indecipherable vocal snippets. 
Sound design wizard D-Leria then closes out the EP with the spellbinding ‘Battito’, complete with mind-blowing melodies and swirling eﬀects, rounding oﬀ another top-draw psychedelic oﬀering on Monday Oﬀ.

In quick succession to ARCS-03, which boasted remixes by The Mover, Shifted and Peder Mannerfelt, Cassegrain keep up the pressure with a new EP of originals on ARCS-04.

Returning to their tunnelling hypnotic trademark sound over three focused, club-ready trips, the Arcing Seas heads channel varied and irrepressible moods into each track. Built on solid dancefloor foundations and rich in colourful, non-conventional sound design, they scan through tribal ritualism with A side 'Shahmaran', moving to the pumping urgency of 'Caracal' and the rolling post-acid workout of 'Vulpine'.

ARCS-04 is a straight-up DJ-friendly 12'', something that's conveyed in the record’s more minimalist artwork. The sleeves have been hand-screen printed in Berlin by Alex from Cassegrain.
