T SOUNDS & MATES EPISODE 1… and its live!! Very gassed to present to u something i’ve been working on for couple of months now. Feels good to get it under way and very happy to present to u my debut guests: Collective Groove

Charlie, Pete and Bob are three top blokes hailing from North London with an unreal platform for music on their radio show That Disco Groove Radio Show. I had the pleasure of being invited on the show earlier this year and chatting and dealing with these 3 geezers was nothin short of great. Top firm. Even if they are spurs fans (sorrys lads I had too). Their musical knowledge is second to none and have extensive roots in all aspects of electronic music through being involved in the London party scene for the last 20 years so I was very keen to see what they had in store for their guest mix and also intrigued to find out more in their interview about what inspires them and dig deeper into their roots. After hosting sold out shows at Colours Hoxton and featuring on the bill for another sold out gig for Discnotechque and radio appearances on Select, just to name a few of what the trio have been up too the last few months, I knew the gang would be keen to keep that party feel going and as always, they did not dissapoint.

Cue their 30 minute mix of uptempo, uplifting and lively house and disco. They have featured all manners of music that puts groove in Collective Groove. From the exciting jazz & disco house created by newer producers such as Ricky Razu, DJ Delivery & East Coast Love Affair, to those influential figures in the music world who have helped shaped electronic music as we know it today such as Floorplan, Mousse T, Ann Nesby, Gusto, Mike Dunn & Riva Starr.
