We present the second of three 12”s to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Deep House legend Jimpster re-edits Galcher Lustwerk’s ‘Nu Day’, adding his own mesmerising live keys and steering the original into classic deep house territory. Williams ‘Pinball’ was the first ever Tsuba release back in 2006 and 10 years later Fort Romeau gives us a special remix that stays true to the Italo origins of the original but updates the track for 2016.  

On the B1 we add a new name to the Tsuba roster with a track from Japan’s Roy Comanchero. When it comes to musical output, Roy’s approach is very much quality over quantity and his only release to date is for Running Back.  ‘Hypba’ has all the hallmarks of a Tsuba classic centering around a hypnotic bassline and some rich analogue synth hooks, expertly arranged for maximum musical pleasure. Last but my no means least Tsuba Boss Kevin Griffiths returns with a new track ‘Satori’, blending rolling conga percussion with a cosmic bassline and atmospheric fx.

We present the final part of the our 10th anniversary trilogy. For the A side one of the most iconic tracks from the Tsuba catalogue gets a very special remix from Dungeon Meat.  The DM duo of Brawther and Tristan Da Cunha retain the hooks from the original adding a break heavy groove and their own unique touches resulting in a remix that successfully straddles genres and will appeal to a variety of taste making DJs. For the B1 Midnight Special, the project comprising Tsuba boss Kevin Griffiths and Justin Drake, deliver ‘Nude Runner’ which nods a head towards Disco with a rolling bassline and sampled strings. The closing track on the EP and our 10 year celebrations comes from M.ono and Luvless with the proto nu house of ‘Fettluke’.

Chicago house legend James Curd makes his Tsuba debut with a killer 4 tracker of jackin' house grooves. As you would expect from a house music veteran the production on these tracks is in a class of its own with the leads & basslines composed on James' extensive collection of analogue synths.

With label boss Kevin Griffiths running his Tsuba imprint out of sunny Adelaide down under, it still hasn't stopped him from seeking out the globe's finest house music. He sought out Argentinian producer Fernando Pulichino a few years ago and he's back with more emotive nu-disco business on the deep side. This follows up some great releases on Leng, Futureboogie and Is It Balearic. Starting out with the sexy neon-lit mood lighting of "Serena" that's perfect for the early evening. The lo-slung "Solstice" is perfect for watching a sunset on The White Isle . Then there are two versions of "Sunburst 73" where the groove of the original follows, but the remix by Swiss producer Androo (who had an impressive debut on Music From Memory sublabel Second Circle last year) delivers an impressive dub deconstruction in the vein of Adrian Sherwood.

The debut release from Strobelight Shadow channels the spirit of Acid House across three warehouse friendly club cuts. 'Pulse' features classic 909 drum programming paired with an LFO influenced bleepy lead time, old skool vocals and stabs. 'Timewarp' brings the acid and a classic SH01A jackin’ bassline and EP closer '2012' is a tribal dub for dark room workouts.
