Paradise Palms presents a brand new EP from Edinburgh-based musician John Bryden aka Eyes Of Others. Gloomy but with a luminous edge, Stimulus sees Bryden creating dark, chugging moods driven by an ensemble of drum machine loops and a broken Yamaha CS01 - elevated by introspective lyrics, haunting vocals and a baggy pop quality.
Bryden’s track ‘Like It When It’s Lazy’ caught the ear of electronic pioneer Das Ding (Minimal Wave, Pinkman) who has contributed a tense and sinister 7 minute remix to the EP.

Pye Corner Audio is set to release a new four track EP on Lapsus Records on the 15th of December. The enigmatic producer delivers gliding arpeggios and electronic wizardry on the label in what makes up the "Where Things Are Hollow" EP.

2nd release in the limited vinyl White series dedicated to sounds across synth, new wave, EBM, italo and electro, comes in the form of a split EP by Danish producer Nixxon and Italian dance wave wizard Franz Scala.

Nixxon's gloomy, cosmic electro slow-roller opens Mechatronica White 2, followed by the heavier sounds of West, driven by razor-sharp synth stabs, voodoo percussion and a colossal bassline to boot.

On the flip, Franz Scala meshes italo, acid and spacey synth grooves into two effective anthems for the floor, destined to move bodies and transport minds.

Next installment is from UK slow-mo wizard Emile Strunz. 

Strunz has long been a lover of electronic body music, synthesisers and European underground clubbing. His unique productions are dance floor focused with dark, slow and repetitive beats inspired by bands like Front 242, the early acid house scene and the North East where he resides. 

The destructive sound that he has carefully refined over the years has received support from DJs like Andrew Weatherall and Erol Alkan, and can be heard on many an alternative dancefloor. His work has been released on labels such as Porn Wax, World Unknown, Flight Recorder and Rothmans. Strunz has also played hardware-driven live shows since 2013. His next live set can be heard on the 14th December at Garage Noord, Amsterdam.

This mix sees Emile show us some of the music that has helped to inspire and craft his own unique productions. You can find tracks by Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb and Yello, as well as some of his own remix work.
