Producers Marco Cassanelli and Beppe Massara (aka Deckard) follow up their previous collaborations on the label, ‘Opus Sectile’ and ‘Pyramiden’ with an improvisational album titled ‘Splitted’. It is an amalgamation of sonic elements closely resembling their live performances and is the result of several studio sessions in Trani, Puglia. 

Additionally, the release is part of the lineup for “Programmazione Puglia Sounds 2022”, an initiative that supports and strengthens musical projects coming out of the world-renowned South Italian region. Armed with analog and modular synthesizers, Marco Cassanelli and Deckard take you on an emotive journey inspired by geometry and symmetry used in all visual arts. 

Characteriszd by their dynamic compositions, the six tracks flow as one - incorporating components from one another, remixed according to the artist’s mood. From the imaginative dreamscapes of bonus track ‘Abandoned Town’ through to the playful synth lines of ‘Rectangle’, the release offers vibrant textures from start to finish. Its trippy, ambient atmospheres display the pair’s mastery of the instruments they wield and provide another outstanding release for the label. 

Marco Cassanelli and Deckard’s ‘Splitted’ drops via T.A. Rock Records on Beatport June 22nd, followed by a full digital and CD release on July 1st, 2022, and a vinyl edition in Autumn.

SAYTEK A3. Purification (Live)

DJ Lion started his album tour On The Verge" already on September 16
at the Berlin club Ritter Butzke. With over 300 tracks released, you
can hear his music regularly in sets of acts like Dubfire, Richie
Hawtin and Sven Väth. In 2009 Resident Advisor called him "Eastern
Europe's h hottest export“. His diverse, playful sound is a joy for
every techno enthusiast.Under his social media posts he uses the
hashtags #melodictechno and #psytechno to describe his sound. The
tracks "Accelerando" and "Psychotronic" in particular fall under the
"Psy" category. If you want to dance the night away, both tracks will
serve you well. The track Zeitgeist does what Zeitgeist usually does,
it hammers itself into our heads at 130 BPM. "Cosmic Mystery" features
this sixteenth bass run that has always characterized techno - here in
a track that seems classic. The album stands under the motto straight
forward, an ultimately danceable, driving techno with thick, biting
sub bass and selected parts that are rich in acid and progressive
influences. Anyway, the tracks are anything but dull and boring.
The album with a total of 16 tracks comes out on November 25

Durant ces émissions, des artistes seront invité.e.s pour nous présenter leur parcours, leur point de vue sur ce que signifie être queer et musicien.ne sur la scène des musiques électroniques actuelle.
