While Bäumel's “Vapour” album could best be described as headphone techno, the remix package is one for the DJ's. We specifically selected artists from different musical backgrounds to help introduce the label to a broader audience. All of them are connected to Trouw and close to our hearts. Family matters!

Joris Voorn needs little introduction, he is Trouw resident dj and one of the best known and most successful artists in the club scene, a hit machine with the midas touch. His interpretation of “Vapour” is one of his deeper productions of recent times but with that same irresistable drive and roof-raising capability that is so typically Joris. 

Petar Dundov has delivered a meandering monster of a mix – beautiful, mysterious and medieval like a dark and ancient fairytale. His ultrasparse use of percussion elements gives him that instantly recognisable sound that we all fell in love with when he graced Trouw with a live performance. 

Nuno Dos Santos is not only one of Trouw's most popular dj's but has put his name on the producer map in a big way with his debut album on Compost and his recent string of remixes. His interpretation of “Tactile” is probably the most modern and experimental mix out of the three.

Apex of the Sun's Way [Off Out 001]

A techno track colored by the eerie, ethereal sound of the theremin. Its haunting tones float above driving basslines and uplifting synths, creating a surreal, otherworldly atmosphere. The blend of classic trance energy with the ghostly, gliding melodies of the theremin gives the track a cinematic and futuristic edge — both hypnotic and deeply emotional, perfect for late-night journeys and festival climaxes.

South America's finest Ricardo Tobar returns with 'La Condamine', an EP of melodic and cosmic electronic music adventures. The four-track EP is the first release on MUSAR, a new experimental imprint out of Tel Aviv. As you can expected from a premium sound designer and tastemaker, Tobar's EP channels his roots from classic 80's darkwave analog sounds and the melodic, softer edges of early IDM.

'Rue Calme' is a deep and uplifting psychedelic trip that straddles the Chilean artist's forever dueling light and dark sound worlds, while title track 'La Condamine' draws on influences such as Boards of Canada, Orbital and science fiction movies, with an epic sunset-perfect melody and warm drums. The release comes with two stellar remixes by Marc Piñol and Ulrich Schnauss.

On WO IST MEINE PLAYSTATION 4? things get a little more psychedelic without losing the straightness you need to get lost in the dance tunnel. CAIRO is a lesson in keeping goose bumps alive with its up and down galloping synth stabs. To cool things down, the Stuttgart based producer drops NIGHTCLEANER, a quietly starting Ambient affair that evolves into a little Acid monster.

The triple vinyl release features 14 hand-picked contributions from the label’s trusted collaborators alongside cutting-edge artists new to the roster; making this compilation one of the label’s most varied and innovative collections yet.

On The World of Monnom Black II, new artists including VTSS, DIMI (AnD), Vladimir Dubyshkin, Hadone, Fractions, LDS, Aahan and Buried Secrets all throw down tracks which fuse tight machine rhythms with intricate detail. There's also a return for many established label favourites such as UVB, Dax J, Zanias and Thomas P. Heckmann as Knarz.

To round out the compilation there’s a re-release of the timeless 1998 cut, “Devious Methods,” from legendary artist, Hive, and Tellurian’s hardcore classic, “Big Bad City,” gets a new mix from Dax J.
