UK based Techno producer best known by his work on the Belgium based Token Records and whose style ranges from gritty minimal techno to Detroit influenced material. Originally a Mastering engineer, Ø[Phase] began producing as a sideline, releasing his debut 'Module Overload' on Steve Bicknell's Lost/Cosmic records in 2000. This was followed by a string of productions for London's Surface/Inceptive Records and Ben Sims Ingoma imprint, all of which saw consistent big name support throughout the techno community. He started working with Token in 2007 and since then his music has progressively gained more & more worldwide attention - most significantly on 2012's much acclaimed 'Binary Opposition' single and subsequent 'Reprocessed' remix package. Recent times have seen him remix for the likes of Robert Hood, Peter Van Hoesen & Mark Broom amongst others while avid support from Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock have led to several appearances at Berghain in Berlin. Anonymous Techno duo Gemini Voice Archive mark up their 2nd EP with Soma on Absolute Disparate. Things really go up a notch on this release as a darker and more twisted side to the due rears its head.

Title track Absolute Disparate is a thundering yet haunting escapade as subtle drones and sequences drive atop stripped back percussive elements working up one hell of a storm

Horizonte de Sucesos is yet another monster from GVA with its intelligent drum work outs and searing bass tones all perfectly tied together ensuring a straight up burner.

On already the third outing of The Nursery, Escape To Mars and Saam do exactly what this series is meant for: putting their talent on display and proving to us and you that they’re promising up and comers.

Escape To Mars kicks things of with two solo tracks perfectly suited for the dance floor, the vibe is heavy throughout, though without ever compromising any of the energy. 

The Dutch youngster Saam has the B-side accounted for. Two deep cuts, for which he clearly took to his modular corner of the studio. Loopy throughout both tracks, but energetic still, thanks to close-to-inaudible changes in percussion and synthesis.

Swiss DJ-producer Honorée debuts on Rekids with two intricate numbers featuring Swedish producer Evigt Mörker.

A key component in Switzerland’s thriving electronic music scene, Honorée is an accomplished DJ and no stranger to playing alongside the upper echelons of house and techno. She now demonstrates her
production abilities with an excellent inaugural outing on Rekids.

‘Pearls’ sees deep notes and stuttering percussion join echoing French vocals for a stripped-back exhibition of mesmerising house.
 
‘Feeling’ integrates sultry chords with syncopated drums whilst a
whispering voice ebbs in and out of the mix. Evigt Mörker, known for appearances on Semantica Records and Konstrukt, then steps up for a rhythmic and ethereal rendition of ‘Pearls’.

For its 303rd release, Tresor Records is glad to present a commissioned work by Donato Dozzy.

Rome based production maestro and DJ extraordinaire Donato Dozzy is unanimously considered as an illustrious leading light in all techno artforms.

Along his long career and extensive discography, Dozzy has proven to use his instruments most interesting ways, always re-inventing his music, always presenting new approaches to both the deeper and the more rhythmic forms of electronic music. It was self-evident to Tresor Records to enroll Donato Dozzy’s talents for this assignment, a nod to the seminal Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer.

The result is a relentless collection of radical, propulsive and bleeding-heart acid tracks. In Dozzy’s words.

Donato Dozzy wishes to dedicate this work to his lifelong friend Filo.

Tresor.303 released July 13th on 2x12” vinyl and digital.

Sawlin's debut EP on Delsin off shoot Ann Aimee went down so well it only made sense to have him craft another. 'Eviment' is that EP, made up of three more deep and subterranean techno cuts that play with plenty of textures.

Title track 'Eviment' is a tortured and paranoid offering that has a nagging vocal stretched out over splashy claps and a foreboding bottom end thud. It's vast and dark, spare and haunting where 'Kretze' is a bigger and bolder track. The analogue percussion and serrated lines all sound old and aged as they mark out a scraping, dystopian vision of a world well away from here.

'Sour Tear' has a more syncopated, techno-funk groove but is still padded out with plenty of dubby undercurrents. Sawlin's percussion sounds are wholly non standard, from clanking metal to twanging strings, everything sounds like a real world sound, which makes his music as arresting as anyone's, despite being made firmly for the techno backroom.
