The unstoppable trio was back at work on Mallorca in Pig&Dan's techno ministry to create another colourful techno anthem while Alberto Ruiz was literally next door to rework last year's anthem 'Soulstice'. Monika Kruse, the german Queen of Techno doing serious negotiations with the two Elevate ministers definitely makes sense and should reign the techno world with all its power.

Tronic has been at the forefront of the electronic underground scene for more than a decade and is considered one of the top selling techno labels in the world. Its boss, Christian Smith was introduced to Drunken Kong during a trip to Tokyo, where the Japanese duo are somewhat local legends, holding down a residency at Womb amongst many other spots in the city.

Now with 4 EP’s under their belt, they announce their debut album this June, but first they have a teaser EP to show us what’s to come with “Life We Knew”.
The EP kicks off with “Life We Knew”, delivering a rolling sub to set the tone and a deep synth horn which tangles with another sinister vocal.
“The Rhythm” comes at you with an infectious and hypnotic vocal, accompanied by a fearless low end. Crunchy percussion and synth stabs echo throughout - heavy hitter for every warehouse out there, whereas a bouncing bass sets a funkier tone for “Mission”.

Premiere: Tomy DeClerque & Dani Sbert - Overload [Toolroom]

Four years after his standout Truesoul debut, Cristoph returns with a trio of peak-time weapons. 

Cristoph’s last contribution to Truesoul, ‘Genesis’ / ‘Exodus’, was a masterstroke of deft dancefloor dynamics, imbued with the right balance of polished low-end groove, licks of melody and pin-sharp drums that epitomised his high production standards. To many, both tracks stand as highlights in the imprint’s canon of releases. As such Adam Beyer remained in regular contact with the impressive UK artist, with a follow-up release in mind.

‘Consequence of Society Vol. X’ is his latest contribution and maintains the high bar set. ‘Sleepless Nights’ is driven by an emotive bassline melody and stirring orchestral break and is made for peak-time moments. A fact confirmed by Eric Prydz when he dropped it at Coachella last year during a rousing performance as Cirez D. ‘Starcourt’ is plucky and propulsive, its deep grooves injected with bags of energy thanks to a persistent synth riff that runs throughout. Like its 
predecessor, ‘Hawkins’ reinforces Cristoph’s love of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ and navigates the EP home with uplifting arpeggios and crisp production techniques.
