Clash Lion is the brainchild of TERR, Shall Ocin, and Daniel Watts, three different people with different backgrounds, tastes and ideas, but with unlimited love for interesting music from techno to electro, from indie-dance to experimental stuff. Operating since 2017, Clash Lion has already released well-established artists like Anna and Maetrik as well as new and fresh talents.
Our new release is Antic's Punch Drunk EP, with a fantastic remix from Gabe Gurnsey. Antic's music is not easy to define. We could say it's a blend of house, indie disco and electropop, but it goes far beyond that. With a range of influences that goes from Kraftwerk to Diana Ross, from Aphex Twin to Debussy, his music is deeply emotional, evocative and powerful. 
The opening track, "Punch Drunk" is a serious dancefloor weapon, with electro and house hypnotic tints punctuated by elegant vocal bits, energetic yet introspective. 
After that we have a fantastic remix from Gabe Gurnsey (DFA, Phantasy) that reconstructs "Punch Drunk" in a totally different way, bringing his unique production skills to the party and giving the track a brand new face, with powerful beats and new sequences, pushing the original idea to a new and exciting zone.
"Disdain", the third track, is a perfect juxtaposition of energy and catchy melodies, with fascinating strings and vocals contrasting with a vibrant and irresistible beat. "Talk Talk" closes the EP, a deep and beautiful blend of electro and synthpop, a trip through beautiful melodies and passionate vocal lines, bringing influences from the past to find a path to the future.

PREMIERE > Moo Moonster & Freudenthal - Remembrance Dance (Original Mix)[MELOPEE RECORDS]

Mexican duo Sierra Madre is thrilled to unveil their first EP, "Cumbres". The collaboration project of producers @mijomijo and @colossiomx, offers a unique blend of techno and indie dance, influenced by the stories of Monterrey City, Mexico. The release includes a collaboration with @moiseesduro and a remix by Esprit Divers.

Inspired by the tragic events that took place in “Cumbres” neighborhood, the EP opens with the title track, a dark, hypnotic, and evocative cut. It is followed by "Cadereyta," the name of the prison where the perpetrator of the Cumbres murders serves his sentence. A cut featuring distorted synthesizers and a driving drumbeat.

Next is "Diego," the track in collaboration with Moisees, a sinister, powerful, and gummy jam. To close the release, Esprit Divers' “Cumbres” remix provides a powerful and introspective cut, taking listeners on a journey of groovy self-discovery.

Dominik Marz is back at it again with another Fiction Lab entry. The Augsburg natives’ last release, a collaboration with David Kochs made our December short list of favorites and has received support from Fiction Lab elite such as The Drifter, and Aera. For this premiere, we’ve chosen the dub tool of Marz’ You Will Be Free, forth-coming on Best Kept Secrets.

Dubs of tracks are an interesting phenomenon, stripped back, fewer elements, more focused on groove however intangible that may be. They’re created to provide DJ’s and music lovers with alternatives in cases where the original versions more often than not feature strong vocals. Great for setting the tone of a night, or layering and building with due to their simplistic nature. Marz’ dub checks all those boxes and more. From the get go, an infectious loop greets the listener and sets the tone of this song as not necessarily a slow burner but a track that establishes itself early and builds element by element. Snappy kicks, synthy risers, and airy pads all contribute to a surprisingly emotional release at the break with a sprinkling of the original versions’ vocals throw into the mix. If the past is any indicator of the future, then here at Fiction Lab, we’re excited to see where Dominik goes and shall be keeping an ear on him.

Tsugi Premiere : Autarkic - Solid States

The fifteenth reference of the Dogs & Vultures digital series is headed by the Mexican Javier Martínez, an artist who has previous releases on labels such as Nein Records or Rotten City and who had already appeared in the catalog of the Spanish label with his contribution to the series of edit DVR audio documents.

The EP is starring a single entitled Alter Ego, accompanied by remixes by the Italian duo Modular Project, Justine (half of Permanent Wave with Tronik Youth) and the Mexican talent Alvee.

On sale on November 4 exclusively on Beatport and Bandcamp for two weeks, then they appear digitally on the rest of the platforms.
