"I used to kneel by a dim lamp in my old apartment whenever I became so overwhelmed with emotion that I spiraled into panic. I would scrawl almost mindlessly into my journal, hoping to unburden myself of some of the weight I was experiencing.

The title poem of this release was inspired by compiled thoughts from many of these existential scrawls. Some of these had been shared with a friend, whose worrisome reaction surprised me and led me to read them for myself. How could someone feel this way? It was heartbreaking at first, then frustrating. It was me. How could I feel so heartbroken while observing my own emotions yet remain unable to control them?

Through this conflict, I put my journal down, turned to my DAW, and created Schema almost as quickly as I had written those scrawls."

===THE LOW BURNISHING LIGHT IN WHICH ALL IS REVEALED===

The low burnishing light in which all is revealed.

Distorting our intentions,
In the lines that keep us,
Rub our ankles raw—
Lines of our invention.

Lines that twist and curl at the edge of the mind,
Elope and entwine where golden hands meet mine.

Feeling the lines of my shadow eclipsed by soft lines of the light,
Radiating heat at the very place your
feet stain like graphite.

The light that feeds,
Administered by your creed,
Illuminating beyond bytes unseen—
Dead pixels; that wild screen.

Each time I remind, I rewind to the
Lines that doused the two—
A twin flame that still makes you turn and say:
"Our feud will fall through."

Constructing lines of our own invention
That bind my soul to you,
Destructing lines of our own intention
That all felled trees construe.

At the end of my appeal,
I turn to you once again
To be, in your heat, annealed
By the low burnishing light in which all is revealed.
