"Love" is Merav Stylee’s second recorded project, the first was "Babylon Is At War" on Culture Dub Records too. Merav is an Israeli singer who grew up in France and Belgium. She’s been active in the Reggae and Dub scenes for over 30 years... To create this EP, Merav Stylee teamed up with producer Mighty Pepper.

"Nothing lasts forever. No passion.
Real love is the will to give without expectation or getting  a results. 
Just be love and  love the soul.

"Love" est le second projet de Merav Stylee, le premier étant "Babylon Is At War" sorti en 2022 chez Culture Dub Records... Merav est une chanteuse israélienne qui a grandi en France et en Belgique. Elle est active sur la scène Reggae Dub depuis plus de 30 ans, travaillant et coachant divers artistes. Pour réaliser l'EP "Love", Merav Stylee s'est associée au producteur Mighty Pepper.

Played originally at Asheville Movement Collective on May 12th, 2023. Re-recorded and refined some transitions before publishing it two days later.

The theme for this dance is inspired by a poem referenced in many Hollywood films, perhaps most notably in the blockbuster movie “Interstellar.” Written by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas in 1947, it has been suggested that it was written for his dying father.

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they

This ecstatic dance set explores the theme of interstellar and inter-dimensional travel both through the portal of dying, and through the portal of distorted perceptions caused by love, desire, fear, angst, and rage. It will resolve itself into a space where surrender, grief and courage can take root before taking flight.

Je me suis amusé à proposer un style différent de mes habitudes, première pour moi dans ce style, la vibe BassHouse/GhettoHouse correspond bien à une facette de mon tempérament et le public à été ultra réceptif ! Je vais réitérer, n'hésitez pas à m'inviter à jouer dans vos évènements si ça vous a plu ! Fin de set un peu plus énervé j'ai eu du rab et les gens étaient déchainés
