Bio OFF Land:

Formed in 2004 by Tim Dwyer, an artist and musician from New England. His sound has 
been influenced by meditative music such as Javanese gamelan and minimal drone. 
Dwyer's music is sparse yet texturally intricate, lying in some sort of 
electro-acoustic limbo between Namlook's more dusty ambient collaborations, 
literal Phonography and contemporary classical experimentalism. 

His newest release: the "Goshawk EP", will be out on March 8th on Stasis Recordings:

Bio Loose Link:

Making sounds since 2007, Loose Link is an artist and musician from New Zealand.
His sounds is influnced from a wide range of genres including big beat, trip-hop,
sampled music and ambient. Loose Link is known for his highly layered soundscapes
and mixes for a variety of radio shows and podcasts from around the world. He is 
also known for creating and organising Terminal Radio, which has attracted the likes
of DJ Food, FSOL, Mixmaster Morris, Nmesh, Ross Baker, Neotropic plus many many more.
He has also co-organised Eccoplex with Nmesh, which explored Vaporwave in a similiar 
fashion.

His newest release "Neo Tropico" will be out April 2015 on Illuminated Paths, and 
will feature many different styles and collaborations:

Both artists are also currently working on a new longform EP together called 
"Hyperbird", originally just a track for Neo Tropico, it is now an expansive 
multi-part composition which will also feature live instrumentation from both parties. 
Coming early-mid 2015.

Ambient Sessions # 08 - Loose Link & OFF Land

Waves of sound float like tides through forgotten corridors, where echoes reverberate against the glass and silence transforms into rhythm. Shadows dissolve into smoky patterns, while hidden currents carry fragments of memory across infinite horizons. In the flow between stillness and movement, time surrenders, and infinity breathes in every pulse.

Hell Yeah's lovingly curated Buena Onda series is back with a new edition that focuses on Adriatic Beats & Beyond. It has been assembled by label head Marco Gallerani and features four exclusive new tunes that reflect his summer residences at a cosy beach bar on Italy's Eastern and Adriatic coast.

Marco moved back to his hometown of Ferrara after the pandemic and began spending more time at the local seaside, the famous Lidi Ferraresi. It's there, at Lido di Spina, that a friend runs Kai Beach Bar, a small spot where, every Thursday throughout August for the last three years, he has soundtracked afternoons and sunsets under the Buena Onda banner, more than a decade after the party first started in Berlin.

"The beat has become less Balearic, more Adriatic," he explains of the sounds that can be heard up and down the coastline. "There’s no sunset culture yet, but they like a groove for aperitivo. This selection reflects the music I propose there, a kinda sunrise to sunset trip."

The 13-track selection includes four exclusives: the first is Blende's 'Amor,' which is forthcoming on the label. Johan Blende is a Swedish producer, songwriter and DJ who weaves together modern dance with retro sounds of the 70s and 80s and debuts on the label this summer with his Recess EP. 'Amor' is a bubbly groove with a New Age wash and lo-fi pads full of charm.

Hell Yeah regular and Italian magic man Walter Del Vecchio aka Quiroga also offers a new Baia Club Ambient Version of 'French Kiss' which has a lazy acid line worming its way through dubby kicks and tabla drums, and his dreamy electro soother 'Cala Ventosa' also features. Secret Soul Society, aka South Wales's Cal Gibson, also tests a new EP with his 'Orange Surprise' blending off-balance rhythmic shuffles with starry cosmic melodies. The final exclusive is from Balearic Gabba Sound System, who flip The Vendetta Suite aka the legendary Gary Irwin's 'Della Notte' into a quietly epic cinematic closer with icy analogue beats and a warped bassline for dubbed out late night escape. His 'Island Hill Microdot' also offers some warped cosmic ambient house introspection.

Elsewhere, Michele Mininni features twice - once with Gallo's Tropical Hinterhof Remix of the suspensory ambient lushness pop 'Carousel of Tears' and once with the original percussive pressure and hip-house fusion of 'Urban Voodoo' from his Pop Archetypes LP. Buena Onda veteran Feel Fly comes through with an Estatico Danzante Remix of Pedro Bertho's 'Tornei' feat Mariana Gehring and takes us to the stars on twinkling keys, dusty breakbeats and steamy vocals that glow as warm as a setting sun.

Add in further groovy gems such as Bonnie and Klein's synth and vibes laced 'Horizon Avenue,' dreamy, breaks-driven downtempo brilliance from pub wave innovator Dawn Again, hints of Ibiza cool from Willie Graff's remix of Aura Safari & Jimi Tenor and some upbeat synth-laced house from label stalwart Luminodisco and you have a faultless collection of grooves for grown up dance floors.

Be it new age, new wave, psychedelic, minimal synth, post-punk and all those other musical zones that make you get in touch with unheard worlds: if you tune in to Ziggy Devriendt’s aka Nosedrip’s show at NTS unremarked sounds from all decades and all around the globe will seduce you. Since a while Nosedrip is part of Belgium’s mushrooming leftfield music scene. For a long-time he co-managed Stroom.tv – a now defunct web platform for oddball music and hand-picked heritage video dreams. Since 2016 he runs his label STROOM 〰  and released hard to find 1980ees minimal, Synth-wave, long forgotten Dutch tropical trances, Latvian avant-ambient or mellifluous musical pop postcards. For Carhartt WIP Radio he prepared a mix for all those cats that like to listen without blinkers, that features his favourite tracks from STROOM 〰 plus 50% unreleased stuff.

Кстати, пару лет назад Сеня уже записывал подкаст с пионерскими экспериментами, который мы до сих пор с теплом вспоминаем и переслушиваем. Теперь наступило время познакомиться с его альтер-эго — DJ Conference, в котором он сублимировал любовь к ломаным ритмам и электронике, идеально сочетающихся с утренними часами и солнцем.

This mix from @signlibrachannel is a brilliantly charismatic set of slow grooves and fast dance tracks. Beginning with the soul-jazz strut of Seven Windows’ ‘Danse Ralenti’, Sign Libra opens with a passage of hypnagogic electronic music from artists including Boards Of Canada and Dieter Reith. A variety of dreamstate beats are delivered in this first section, but around the thirty-minute mark Sign Libra ramps things up with T Power vs. MK Ultra’s ‘Mutant Jazz’, a track that has plenty of jungle in its DNA. From here on out Sign Libra blends house-indebted productions from Natural Born Grooves and The Beloved with more of the spiritualised, jazz-flecked electronic sounds of the mix’s first half.
