This DJ set by SPACE WIZARD features tracks from his upcoming new compilation with his friend Alin Fei soon on Paranoraml Records. This is a complete mix of tracks. Mohammad Akka, also known as SPACE WIZARD, was born in 1992 in Tehran, Iran, and began his journey as a DJ in 2014. He chose psychedelic trance as his signature style and has performed at various festivals including Ahoora Festival, Nayama, Tree of Life, as well as numerous underground parties in Tehran.  Since 2020, he has released several VA (Various Artists) compilations, including Ceremony of Persia with his partner Elvan, and solo projects like Mind Box and Lunatic Paradise. He now presents his latest VA, Neuctli Visions, featuring a killer tracklist.  Mohammad is a member of Ibidelyc Records LTD and the co-founder of Paranormal Records.

The Universal Tribe Records series kicks off with INVERTED WORLD featuring this fresh, "Expressions" Live Set with a wide range of his releases, from older tracks to the most recent releases, recorded especially for this Universal Tribe series on radiOzora. Lucas Magalhães is the Brazilian behind the Inverted World project. A native of Minas Gerais and a lover of psychedelic music, he presents in his productions a deep and introspective musical education, bringing to his sound influences from different musical genres, combined with percussion, tribal elements and organic atmospheres, which refer to the power of nature and the jungle, bringing a peculiar style that moves masterfully between Bush Prog and Dark Prog, with strong Zenonesque characteristics. Representative of the renowned Australian record label Universal Tribe Records since 2021, being the first Brazilian producer to sign with the label, today he already collects releases by several highly regarded national and international record labels.

We are frequencies in motion.” BARFLY (Wei-Hsiang Fan) is a sonic explorer and DJ from Taiwan, born in 1984 and active in the electronic music scene since 2002. Known for his energetic sets and hypnotic soundscapes, he’s become a key figure in Taiwan’s psychedelic trance movement.  Starting out in bars and clubs, Barfly’s sound evolved into a powerful form of Full On Psytrance, blending emotional depth with driving rhythms. His early sets spanned Electro and Breakbeat, but it was his breakthrough performance at EarthFest 2011 that earned him national acclaim — and the nickname “Mr. PsyBreaks.”  Today, his performances merge traditional motifs with cutting-edge synthesis, creating immersive, high-energy dance floor experiences that pulse with raw, primal force.

This was my first European Festival booking set at the mighty Modem Festival. Best dj experience of my life!

So full disclosure.... this is a studio recreation of the tracks played. Iistening back in the car today, this isn't how I mixed it live (the recording off the desk fucked up) and I'm a little disappointed but I'll polish this version - I was just too excited to get it out there because I had such a good time and I rushed it!!!

Modem do have a clean copy of the original set which will be released the same way they did last year.  Much love to you all xx

SPATIAL PLANTS | Blacklite Records Series EP. 60 | 22/07/2025

It was the 2nd time that I had the honour to be at Kosmos Festival with a 10 year break in 2015. The festival is still stunning and has a very special own vibe, being located close to nowhere in the Finish forests. As I arrived, I was asked by my friend and one of the main organizers if I could fill a gip of another DJ who could not make it in time due to flight issues. So within a bit less than an hour, I thought of some music to play after the opening of the Vortex Stage, including a live performance of artists and acrobauts on the dancefloor :) So please, have a listen and decide for yourself if this could be a suitable 2nd set of the festival..
