Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore IX, the Aborted Genocide ending, details an ending in which a bored and jaded Frisk decided to kill absolutely everyone with the exception of a monster or two near the end of their journey, just to see what would happen. Alphys has no choice but to take over, and the Underground has morphed into a semi-industrialized society motivated by pure aggression and vengeance. Humans are to be treated as...well, take a wild guess.

Napstablook takes the role of Papyrus. For some reason they're...somehow the cheeriest person in this current underground dystopia? They're not exactly HAPPY, but...they suddenly have more hope than everyone else. An unexpected turn of events, for sure. People aren't crazy about the fact that Blooky DOESN'T hate humans like the rest of them, but they figure that harmless ghost won't make much of a difference.
