Jansons has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting UK producers on the scene right now.  As one half of production duo LoveHrtz (alongside Richy Ahmed) and with a strong run of releases on Classic Music Company, Hot Creations, Four Thirty Two, Skint Records and 8bit, Jansons continues to win support the world over from industry peers and fans alike.

2020 saw the release of Jansons & Ben Rau’s ‘The Player’ single for Knee Deep In Sound, and the pair continue to collaborate here, with Jansons ‘Kiss Kiss’ single landing on Rau’s own META label. 

‘Kiss Kiss’, in its original form, pairs up chunky drums and choppy female vox, as Jansons injects his trademark ‘feelgood’ vibes into the groove with an industrious rhythm and funky tone.  On the ‘Filter Mix’, the crisp swinging beats are filtered elements evoke shades of the finest Chicago/French house tracks from over the years, and a great alternate version to compliment the original mix.

Accompanying track ‘Sometimes’ forages a deeper path; a hypnotic groove lays the foundation for the vocal dialogue to ride over a percussive workout, which dips and rises in all the right places.  A brooding bassline and filtered riff provide the pulsing rhythm that lets the vocal soar!

We are excited to welcome Australian artist Moontide to the Earthly Measures family with his truly beautiful EP 'Dreams Within Dreams' including remixes from Kusht and ourselves.

Dreams Within Dreams is built entirely from field recordings captured in churches, temples, and other places of ritual. The EP marks Moontide's use of exclusively analog synthesisers for the drums and melodies, which respond to these recorded environments.

The work explores the acoustic properties of these intentional spaces, their reverbs, silences, and ambient textures. Each track layers these field recordings with analog synthesis, creating compositions that exist somewhere between documentation and interpretation.

Fresh off the brink of total obscurity, Butane is back in the spotlight with Five Minutes of Fame, a two-track mind-melter for the misfits. A-side “Welcome to the Shitshow" kicks down the door with swagger, a wonky tech roller for those who like their dance cuts like their lives - a little messy.  Flip it over (that's a vinyl reference) and you've got "Last Man Standing,” a hypnotic endurance test for anyone still standing at 6am.  As always, expect surgical grooves, cheeky attitude, and just enough chaos to keep it moving. Welcome to the shitshow.  You’ve got five minutes.. make ‘em count.
