This song rose out of a 72-hour storm that wasn’t quiet at all. It felt like breaking—like running until I vanished, like dying in ways that weren’t physical but were heavy enough to steal the breath from my chest. But I kept talking. I reached out to people who cared, people who helped me see parts of myself I had never been able to name. And slowly, the chaos loosened its grip.

From that came a moment of clarity—the kind that arrives only after everything inside has been shaken loose. That truth is what led me to step away from Facebook for a while. Not a dramatic exit, just a necessary return to myself.

“What Am I Fighting For?” is the sound of that reckoning. It begins soft and stripped down, rises into something fierce, and ends with raw honesty. Acoustic, rock, and rap woven together the same way those days wove my past wounds, my healing, and the questions that still shape me.

This song is the answer I found in the middle of it all.  
And the question that keeps me moving.
