Tuesday Hangover formed in October 2009 when vocalist Emma Howe started performing with guitarist Will Marshall, bassist Matt Williams and drummer Alex Lewis, who had been playing together in various line-ups before. 

From the start the new line-up was very successful, blowing away crowds with an original mix of genres and Emma Howe’s soaring vocal lines, self-penned as ‘Nouveau Indie’. Over the last year Tuesday Hangover have played in numerous venues in the North West area supporting the likes of ‘Ou Est Le Swimming Pool’, ‘Neon Indian’ (one of Rolling Stone magazines top 10 bands to watch of 2010), ‘Polly Mackey and the Pleasure Principle’, the hotly-tipped ‘Fenech Soler’, Ghostpoet, and the Mercury Prize winnners 'Alt-J'.

Tuesday Hangover have been well acclaimed by all that they’ve played with for their fresh, eclectic, indie sound, and have recently received coverage from local press.

Unfortunately, as the band grew up to follow their acclaimed careers as musicians, engineers and lawyers, the band took a break from music. Fortuitously, the band managed to find time in their busy schedules to record a Greatest Hits - EP at Aerial Studios in Wrexham in January of 2014. Will this be the bands swan song moment or will their paths cross again? Who knows! Watch this space!
