TUESDAY X is an emerging composer with a passion for gothic drama. She has aspirations to write original scores for film and television and will be releasing a debut album featuring a body of piano works and multi-instrumental compositions intended for the screen in Summer 2024...

Inspired by the supernatural and the horrors of human existence, she pulls references from all eras. Her piano heroes include Chopin, Satie, Debussy, Bartok, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Mahler, Scriabin, Fiona Apple, Alicia Keys, Emahoy Tsegue-Maryam Gebrou, Phillip Glass, Yann Tiersen, Danny Elfman, Trent Reznor, Johan Johannessen, Cole Porter, Tom Holkenborg, Morricone, Umiliani, Badalamenti. She will listen to literally any thing you put in front of her, but the musical genres she finds most evocative are punk, metal, hardcore, psych rock, jazz, rockabilly, new wave, gothic industrial, EDM/house, philharmonic orchestra, but most of all: hip hop and rapper/producers such as MF DOOM, J Dilla, Dangermouse, and Madlib.
