The OG purple rain is such a classic which is defo getting more attention nowadays but if you haven't heard it defo go check it, beat is crazy. Also I just found out by trying to find videos of Rubbabandz that he was part of the Wu in some way which is cool to know.

Man this one was the most Ive had to persevere with a track for a long time, nearly threw this beat away multiple times, and couldn't work out the remix for ages too, went through loads of acapellas before getting to this one. Glad I worked through it though, always worth it. I was originally trying to flip this sample by slowing it way down but it just wasn't working at all, which made me nearly throw it away. Just left it for months, tried revisiting it a few times and still couldn't get it down. Start of this week I just completely scrapped my original idea, and kept the sample at normal pitch, and just chopped it up into crazy pieces so I could flip it that way, gives it a choppy vibe but I think it works for the vibe of the beat.
