In the Irony on 23rd Draze captures the thoughts, hurts and reactions of a community dealing with the painful impacts of gentrification. The storyline focuses in on Uncle Ikes, the State of Washington's #1 Pot shop which has moved within a few feet of one of the communities most prominent African American Churches.

it's a poorman pitty party with a tiny violyn, 
sounding just like armigeddon heading in the lions den,
with an iron chin, riding on a dying wind to haydes,
before i left, i took a breath held and kissed my babies,
weld and twist the gate keys, so no soul can follow,
it's so cold in the hallow hold of this empty bottle,
(glass breaking) the sorrow accents the savage shadow, 
thats cast a poor reflection of who i really am,
he's a poorman, a great talent gone to waste,
ugly in the balance with song ballets on his face,
long tallens on his case, that claw at his doormat,
eating at the core, snakes! unhinging their jaws back,
the venomous bites paralyze endorphins,
while the gathering savages take carriage rides with orphins,
to visit me benieth these leaky water pipes,
that leak in his sleep but it keeps a beat thats sort of tight,
i live for my daughters like the dead beat some paint me,
with lead feet dumb blatenly blamed wrongly they framed me,
chained me up on a strange angle and left me dangeling,
hanging by the thin thread in this cob web i'm tangled in,
like death before dishonor no spear pierce this armor,
no sword slash my sash, no fear, face the drama,
force fields shield the fierce final fantasy summons,
when friends become foes pushing insanities buttons,
it explodes! code red at ground zero,
looking all around like where's that muscle bound hero?,
no where to be found just the bearded town wierdo,
geared down with a buger king crown and wound real slow,
