The beast watches me by the window
Its breath, cold and dismal
Feel under my skin 
The infernal chills
At night when I fall asleep.
Its red eyes,
They burn like a burning frost
Like Heaven’s flames
The trumpets of the angels singing a macabre requiem.
Blood falls on the harp of the damned
Its grown like a whisper, it says to me:
« I’ll knock on your door, three times
Half goat, half darkness
I will be your saviour » 
So I glance at the cross above my bed,
The celestial trilogy suddenly makes me drowsy;
Like an ectoplasm that I want to throw up
The beast thorned me with its cursed horn
I can feel in my body, the holish medicine that eats away at my bones

The ghost made me a promise of a paradise,
The demonic wedding 
In the haunted boat, the fear comes alive
So I drink the toxic water, the one the beast ordered me to drink, 
The boat soon reaches the shore, 
Behind the outlines of the trees,
I catch a glimpse, of the invisible horde of a clay house
Winter and fall could not love one an other
And three days later
The door struck, three times
The chimera, worried, and under its hoof
Gives me a paper and its ink

Interlude - la Hialaira

La bête me regarde par la fenêtre,
Son souffle froid et lugubre,

La bête m’a piqué par sa corne maudite
Je sens dans mon corps, 
la médecine infernale qui ronge mes os

Et trois jours après, par trois fois la porte à frappée
La chimère était inquiète, et sous son sabot,
Me donne un papier et son encre couleur noir de sang

Le spectre a fait la promesse d’un paradis, 
Des noces démoniaques,

Alors soudain le ciel funèbre s’est ouvert, 
Les anges aux visages épouvantables 
Leurs cris perçant, 
Leur parfum couleur souffre 
Leur caresse comme l’épine d’une rose venimeuse 
Leur regard, fenêtre vers l’au-delà 
J’ai goûté leur fruit de plomb 
Et dans une vague infiniment longue 
J’ai fermé les yeux, dans un malaise triste, 
La lumière s’est évanouie, 
Le sol s’est dérobé sous mes pieds 
Et la chute était infinie, 
Et le sol a disparu sous mes pieds, 
Et la mort au loin est apparue. Et la mort au loin, est apparue.

la bête était là.
