This is an alternate version of "Walking through Mirrors" I recorded in the summer of 2016 at a friend's house I was watching for them while out of town (Marshall Greenhouse who also was drumming and controlling electronic percussion/rhythmic effects and beats in the band and his wife, Shannon Smiley Greenhouse, the other vocalist & multi-instrumentalist in Animal Holograms at that time). The guitars were recorded ten years ago with a mini tape cassette hand held recorder that I used to use to remember song ideas.  I transferred the severely degraded audio from the already lo-fidelity mini-cassette to my digital mixer and edited a section from the original recording which I looped.  I cranked the volume so I could play drums along with the loop as well as singing into a mic running through a cheap PA.  I mic'd the kick, snare, mono OH, two room mic's (left and right) and ran a TS cable from the PA into the mixer.   So for the most part, this is a live recording.  I quickly mixed it all on my Tascam, exported the mix to my computer and there you have it.  Polychoniac.  Or Polychronemic.  I don't know anymore...
