This is my first recorded Liquid Drum and Bass mix, a deviation from my preferred fast and dark neurofunk style. I really enjoyed exploring this atmospheric, deep, and melancholic sound. The mix includes some of my all-time favourite Liquid tunes as well as some recent discoveries. Enjoy the journey!

I haven't seen a dancefloor in Naarm/Melbourne rock that good in a long time. The term "artist to watch" gets thrown around a lot these days, especially with the volume of new artists entering the scene with unprecedented access to tracks, information, and technology. Often, however, it's a certain attitude that elevates the true heads above the groundswell of an ocean of new artists, and Connor Wall is unquestionably of this ilk.

Inspired from past, present and future experiences - Connor's creative constancy has allowed him to shape his sound into the organic, weighty, and effective tracks you can hear on labels like Treatment, Float, Phorum and WSNWG.  There is a potent, heart-palpitating sonic representation that accompanies anything Connor does, and part of the reason why he is such an exciting prospect leading into the future. I dont often share recordings from my longer club sets but Open Ground is somewhere i instantly felt comfortable and I enjoyed these 6 hours so much that I felt compelled to share them with you.

As I wasn't really able to record my set on the weekend, I decided to try and remake the set to best of my ability, as the vibe I captured in Stuttgart was amazing, out of this world and my first ever peaktime house set. A lil bit of 90s Eurodance, Disco and Soul House, this was an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to more of the same
