Webbed Feat - Araxxor Fight Mix

This piece was commissioned by BBC Radio 4's 'Playing the Skyline' series. Created by me and using an old poem composed in the 1800s, the song gives us an insight into a controversial time in Highland history, when of hundreds of families - in this particular case, from the Strathglass area - were cleared from their land and forced to emigrate.  

The music is still a work in progress…but here it is for a wee listen.

In the Reaper's house the world can't harm you,

All your fears and all your woes will fade away...

From the weakest ghost to the vilest ghast
There's foes of every size
To test your resolve and your spectral hunting skills...
