The first single from Power Saving Mode, my debut album, is out now.

These are the lyrics from an unreleased Avicii track ("Promises of Tears") that was leaked several years ago. As some of you may know, I started making music back in 2012-2013, largely inspired by him. The meaning of this track is strikingly similar to that of "Passenger Of Inertia," particularly as I began to re-listen and relate to Tim's track during some of my lowest points.

In the context of "Power Saving Mode," this song serves as the album's opening track. It captures the feeling of being unable to think, act, or accomplish things on your own due to mental exhaustion. When you enter your own "Power Saving Mode," you often become a passenger of your own inertia.

A deep intro with atmospheric vocals drop us into an acid layered, bass-heavy whomper with lush synth pad soundscapes. On the flip is 'A Touch of Fire'. Another lovely snappy snare drives the drums forward as L2D2 teases in some lovely synth chord progressions and another anthemic vocal sample to set the tone. Some gritty and acidic synth lines cut the mix a treat whilst L2s heavy groove and low end set the groove.
