Never commented before, had this account since I was 11, I'm 23 now. Just going through and seeing what young me was listening to, and I am pleasantly surprised. This shit goes hard.

A study on motivic material from Virtual Riot's 'Sugar Rush'.

I wanted to create something as original as possible while still utilizing recognizable material from the original.

This work combines core aspects of melodic dubstep with elements of downtempo drum & bass, and utilizes a less common drum & bass/2-step rhythm in the climax. The second buildup section is also a contrast to what one may usually find in similar tracks, as instead of building up it breaks down, almost disappearing before the second climax (drop).
