This is the sort of 91bpm rock-funk bass loop that is comparable to the perfect "funboard" in surfing. You can arrive, the venue maybe has 20 people near where the DJ area is ... play this, and suddenly, it's 200 people. No jokes, it's that good.

Also has an octave different synth doubling the line just for backup and 70's reference funky man holdin' down the groove no problemo el hombre.

Rock-Funk, dude ... it's a genre.

This is original content ... the synth patches were made on Zenology by talented 3rd party totally cool people, that SuperGeek then customised somewhat, and live-sequenced the riff.

Then did some after-the-event (of recording) parameter editing such as... note length and velocity, very subtle changes here and there.

Some gentle compression and a few EQ notches to address a slightly boxy low-mid area of the spectrum making itself vaguely intrusive. After the nuanced engineering, everything is all good and for any improvements the DJ mixer is always a good friend with a 3 band EQ for each channel.

The actual volume of this was about, after all was said and done, about -5db ... giving 5db headroom for any effects or further RMS-style compression in a composition scenario.

Oh, and btw this is 48k. Shall upload the 44.1kHz sample rate wav for those so inclined.
