In other words you can expect the unexpected. Currently he has made waves in the growing Saudi techno scene with his unique sound. CMRK, known as a semi-industrial techno producer and DJ from Lithuania and team-member of Orkaitė project (@orkaite).
He is only 22 years old and he started by experimenting many electronic genres since the start of 2017, though later he found his inspiration by industrial feel of the club’s atmosphere.
The unique new artist had an opportunity to release his tracks in many labels such as Smashead record label’s sister label SMSH, INSANE INDUSTRY, Das Kolkektive, Agathism, Orkaitė, and an EP as hus very first vinyl record released on Gars label, owned by the experienced Lithuanian constant sound rebel Mantas T. 
His music has already been supported by: DJ Ogi, Arweenn, Aahan, Dax J, D.Dan and many more from his home country, also, he had some of the gigs involving stars such as Klangkuenstler, Vendex, Lee Ann Roberts and more.
His vision is to keep creating his own sound, content and what ever it takes, to keep Lithuanian techno scene stable.

Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, producer and live set artist Borenstein is now based in Copenhagen with its flourishing techno scene. Primarily a live set artist, he performs with a compact hardware-only setup and is gaining attention for his dynamic sounding performances that provide a fresh new take on techno.
Borenstein has been producing electronic music since 2012 and has been experimenting wildly with different genres. However it wasn't until 2018 when Borenstein dwelled deeper in the world of hardware that he finally found his own sound in a faster form of techno. Borenstein recently joined Petite Victory Collective, a label, event organiser and collective for artists, based in Copenhagen but with members globally, that focuses on hardware music production and live set performances. 
Borenstein, who had a remix together with Moby, released on Moby's own label "Little Idiot" in 2014, finally released his debut EP "Vague Intentions" on Petite Victory Collective in 2022. 

Borenstein has delivered his live sets at, amongst others, Depot Cph, QUANTUM, Pumpehuset, Urban 13 and Rust and has an exciting, debut at Culture Box's Red Box floor with a 1.5 hour live set the 14th of April 2023 - the very same date where we are hosting @mrdmrdmrd for a Tunghør night in Black Box.

You can expect several upcoming releases and more performances from Borenstein in the near future, so keep your eyes open!

Anja Pi is a Copenhagen-based versatile selector. In her club collection, she blends high-energy trance, techno, and electronica for when the twilight hits the city. It is not shy to embrace elements of tackiness or vampiness.
As a member of the MetaCat collective, Anja Pi collaborates with like-minded DJs to explore the boundaries of sound.

Anja Pi is part of the duo Nicekill as a songwriter and vocalist, weaving narratives of dancefloor poetry.
All of her projects share identity by including raw synths, acid, and synth-pop vocals.

For our 30th Tunghør podcast we are presenting Tino (@1ino) <3

Tino is the alias of up-and-coming Danish techno producer Aske Bergstein Nielsen. Although he has only been around Copenhagen's booming techno scene for a few years, Tino has already had his music released on many different labels, including his magnum opus debut “Word Play EP” on Seaworld Records, and tracks on compilations from Artaphine, Binary Cells, Subsist Records, Gomboc Records and Another Name - the latter being the label associated with the infamous Copenhagen nightclub “Den Anden Side". 
Tino is currently on the roster for upcoming releases on the heavy hitting label, Leyla Records, where he will be making an appearance with his debut vinyl EP; "Cagematch.

Tino’s style of techno is a hyperactive multilayered percussion-palette of industrial scale, and most of his productions are set in BPMs far above 140. Tino has one foot planted in the old school rolling style of Birmingham tooly techno, and another foot in breakbeat and electro. 
Several of his tracks are driven by polyrhythmic beat structures that are as straightforwardly funky as they are mathematically complex and madly engineered.

Started out making off grid psytrance parties, and later moved on to DJ’ing and music production. He have touched many genres but mainly focused on trance, techno, house, breakbeat and jungle. With releases on Red Robot, Mighty Vibrations, Solumn Records, BSP/Bispebjerg and Pana. A frequent participant of the vibrant club scene.
Andy was also a former resident DJ at the legendary and now closed club KB18.

To kick off our podcast series we present you all a very special 3 hour journey by @hushandsleep. The recording was made at our Tunghør 7.0 event at @cultureboxcopenhagen on January 4th, 2020.

We first booked Hush & Sleep for our packed stage at Distortion 2019, and 7 months later they returned for our Culture Box takeover.

Hush & Sleep is a project of Tom Tonnard and Frankie Decicco. They started their collaboration on a shared vision; music should tell a story and emotionally take you to a different place in time, just like a dream. This is what they strive for in their productions.

Their style of music is quickly conquering the hearts of the techno scene, as their numerous releases have received mayor support by the likes of: Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Charlotte de Witte, Ilario Alicante and many more.

Emotional dark melodies combined with a techno foundation that will take you on a mystical journey, only if you let it. So hush and sleep.

Tunghør Podcast 001: Hush & Sleep

For our second podcast we invited @ARTHUREE from Aarhus Techno District to take us for a trippy ride. 

ARTHUREE and the rest of the Aarhus Techno District crew is fighting an important battle, by pushing techno in a place that really needs it. Here in Copenhagen, we have techno events every single weekend, while in Aarhus the scene is a lot smaller and mainly kept alive by the passionate DIY crews like ATD. 
ARTHUREE is both a skilled producer and DJ, coming from a hot streak of gigs in Aarhus and, most recently, also at Culturebox here in Copenhagen. His next EP on Vincent Noxx Records is set to release on 12/02/2020 so keep an eye out for this one next week! 
The sound of ARTHUREE can be described as a mixture between dark and minimal techno – enjoy!

Tunghør is a Copenhagen based techno collective that was founded in the summer of 2018. 
We strive to create an atmosphere and a vibe at our parties, where everybody feels welcome.
