@user-994408151: I wouldn't know myself! Someone once said it was "improvized-like" and so yes there is jazz and adding the cymbals brings it even closer to jazz!

@sounds_m: Thank you May! I was very lucky because the percussion is an added track with originally no relation to the piece! I just had to make some adjustments!

Unusual, jazzy and so unique.. well constructed composition 

I think this is a beat. At least it started as a beat. I had a drum pattern with some quirky foley sounds and then a synth melody. It was a loop, then I set-out to arrange it as a beat, but then I added some more flavour to the chords in the B section and then I started feeling like a synth solo and then it became this thing. I'm still calling it a beat. Beat I.

Maria

I started this piece as a continuation of "le Visage que je te donne". I was on a trip at some dear friends' house in Alicante and then in Catalona. First it felt I barely couldn't touch the keyboard, as if the keys were hot. There was a cold determination behind this however, but also a sense of fun and play, and so being with my friends I was brought back to some inner strength, whereby the hot and the cold (also: fear and courage, loneliness and independence, sadness and joy)would somehow unite and both be subsumed into a wider state of being. - This is the face I give you, this is the work of my hands.
