Thomas Jenkin é o nome por trás do projeto TUP que surgiu no vibrante cenário da música eletrônica de Santiago no Chile em 2016. 

Sua exploração de vários estilos musicais o levou a descobrir sua verdadeira paixão pela pesquisa sonora dentro dos gêneros downtempo e organic house. 

Viajando pela América do Sul, colecionou sons e experiências que influenciaram fortemente a música que hoje compartilha em suas apresentações. 

Acredita no poder da música para unir culturas e, por isso, mudou-se para Berlim em 2019. E desde então, os tons sombrios e sensuais da cidade infundiram novas dimensões na sua pesquisa, explorando ritmos mais rápidos de deep house e melodias alegres de house clássico.

TUP was born in 2016 alongside Santiago de Chile's vibrant electronic music scene. He has explored a wide variety of musical styles. However, it was in downtempo and organic music where he found his true passion for sonic exploration. His experience in small bars, private gatherings, and travels throughout South America has influenced the musical styles he shares today. He firmly believes that music can unite cultures, which is why in 2019 he ventured to move. Berlin has been his new home, allowing the dark and sensual tones of the city to give his music a twist, and exploring faster rhythms of deep house and joyful melodies of classic house. In 2023, TUP embarked on a small tour in his home country, collaborating with prominent electronic music collectives in Chile. This opened doors to continue his journey in Berlin, enabling him to share his music at festivals and more collectives within the electronic scene of this city.

PISTOL SHRIMP III OPEN AIR, BERLIN, 25.08.24

I had the absolute joy of closing the Zukunft stage at Gisela Club with a mid-tempo set. Starting at 6 AM, I took everyone on a journey, beginning with slower, more chilled sounds and building up to a high-energy finish. The vibe was incredible, and dancing together until sunrise made it one of the most unforgettable nights of the year.

A huge thank you to Zukunft and Texture Berlin for creating such a magical event and for trusting me to be part of it. This will definitely go down as one of my favorite moments of the year

We are reaching the end of the week and it's about time to share our latest episode. 

For the podcast #5, we present you: @TUP

This month is TUP’s turn and as usual, he doesn't disappoint! Thomas aka TUP comes from Chile and played in many of our parties. He is known for having a refined taste and playing down-tempo and Mid-tempo house. 

 In electronic music we have a million styles so, you may wonder: What's Mid-tempo? This genre is characterized for having a slower pace that gives the tracks a more laid-back and groovy feel. In this set we can hear deeper melodies, organic sounds and dark basslines. I think it's the perfect set to end this Sunday :)

TUP | Mid Tempo House | Zukunft Podcast #5

Played a set in Mantagua for Cualkiera Party, right along the breathtaking Chilean coast where the mountains meets the wild energy of the Pacific Ocean. As the sun faded behind the dunes, painting the sky with golden and crimson shades, the music began a slow, hypnotic journey—gradually diving into deeper, darker sounds to welcome the night.

Big thanks to everyone who danced and shared this special moment with me. Your energy made it unforgettable.

I started my journey as TUP in 2016, immersed in the vibrant electronic scene of Santiago de Chile. After exploring various styles, I found my essence in downtempo and organic music, inspired by my travels across South America. 
In 2019, I moved to Berlin, where the city's dark tones and faster deep house rhythms influenced my sound. I blend sensual melodies with the joy of classic house, creating unique sets that bring together cultures and emotions.
