DCMX is the new label from Drumcomplex. Drumcomplex aka Arnd Reichow is a techno DJ, radio host, producer and label head of Complexed Records,and now his new label DCMX. Active since the late 90s, he is one of Germanys most dedicated techno purveyors with a body of work reaching crowds around the globe. DCMX is primarily dedicated to his own releases & colloabs which will be released on his new label.

Polish live performer, artist, and curator DEAS is set to release his debut on Planet Rhythm on April 19th with "Formation" EP. Known for his otherworldly ability to craft complex soundscapes and improvised loops, DEAS is a multitalented artist who takes pride in his unique approach to techno music.

"Formation" offers listeners a sonic journey through four meticulously crafted tracks, showcasing DEAS' signature style of clinically precise 4/4 techno and inventive groove loops. Each track demonstrates his commitment to exploring new sonic territories while staying rooted in his musical identity.

"'Formation' is a celebration of breaking out of the genre canvas. From 'house'y' sounds through dub techno to hard groove, the EP takes you on a ride, showcasing the depth and dimensionality of my art."

Each track on the EP tells a unique story, from the acidic sounds of "Basel," inspired by the Netherlands' 90s music scene, to the emotive depth of "Here," where a carefully manipulated sample serves as the backbone of the composition. "Romance" channels the energy of techno legends like Chris Liebling and Ben Sims, showcasing DEAS' versatility and reverence for the roots of the genre.

DEAS' connection to his music goes beyond the norms, as he crafts his own studio gear and even built his own DIY Roland 909 machine. His dedication to authenticity is reflected in the EP's release on vinyl, a nod to the analog roots of techno and a statement against digitally-focused trends.

Glaswegian Techno pioneers Slam are back on @Soma with their first full EP release of 2024 with the stripped back and driving Wave Expansions EP. Hot of the back of their wildly acclaimed ‘Exhibit’ VAs, the duo once again stamp their authoritative sound across this expertly produced, 4 track EP.

Returning to SHDW’s Mutual Rytm imprint, his new EP lands following his recent appearance on the label’s ‘Federation Of Rytm III’ VA, with the tracks on the package proving as go-to favourites for the label boss over recent months.

The powerful 'Upside Criminal' kicks off with hammering drums and pounding hits that create an inescapable wall of sound that will dominate dance floors of any size. There is more loopy energy to 'Sambana' with its ever more jagged synth stabs and fizzing drum textures while 'Pepper Track' is a futuristic techno workout with rattling snares and mutant synth details peeling off the straight-up groove. 'Rejected' is built around trapped vocal fragments that swirl about the mix to a disorientating effect as the high-speed drums and sheet metal synths race onwards, ‘while Ghost' closes out with a subtle sense of uplifting celebration from the synths that rise up through rusty, rickety techno grooves. 

Digital Bonus 'Variation 6.1' offers another searing and funky techno stomp, once again providing 
an extra gem for digital purchasers.

There is more loopy energy to 'Sambana' with its ever more jagged synth stabs and fizzing drum textures while 'Pepper Track' is a futuristic techno workout with rattling snares and mutant synth details peeling off the straight-up groove. 'Rejected' is built around trapped vocal fragments that swirl about the mix to a disorientating effect as the high-speed drums and sheet metal synths race onwards, ‘while Ghost' closes out with a subtle sense of uplifting celebration from the synths that rise up through rusty, rickety techno grooves.

Digital Bonus 'Variation 6.1' offers another searing and funky techno stomp, once again providing an extra gem for digital purchasers.
