In the 1960s Françoise Hardy emerged, with effervescent fashion, into the boy's club of French pop music, quickly becoming an international sensation and a national treasure. Her famous sensuous singing voice, now synonymous with monochrome French sophistication and cool, has often been imitated to the point of parody, but rarely matched. Unlike many contemporaries, Hardy was willing and able to write original material, and remained incredibly prolific up until her recent retirement. 

This In Focus takes in the best of her romantic, nostalgic discography.

Composed on Reunion Island between 2019 and 2021, a period which I took some distance from techno (the context particularly lent itself to this), I then focused on slower rhythms and approching a more "trans" vision in my music with very varied inspirations, dub/electronica/industrial/rock/ambient... many sounds that can perhaps be felt in this EP. It is also the fruit of a lot of inner questioning and reflexions on my goals as a musician. This is partly why it took several years before decided to release it. It now represents an important part of my life and I am very happy to share it !
