Sadboimxstt’s 5-track disco house EP is a deep dive into the soulful heartbeat of the dancefloor. @autarkic recorded a wonky DJ mix for us, in guise of an introduction to the Turbo Recordings family. 

He wrote a little statement regarding his music and forthcoming EP:

"My music is often described as "New Wave", "Cold Wave", "Dark Wave" and so on… The truth is that i am a bad swimmer, so being on a wave can be a horrifying  experience.

I understand it is easier for people to categorise and i respect that, though i don't see myself surfing on any wave but my own little wave where i can decide to which direction I'm going to.

'Rotation! Rotation!' is another phase of mine. I see it as a more gentle side of me and less of a celebration of stiffness. Songs like 'I know', 'I am the clone?' are good examples for that.

I want to bring the real me to every song or production i make, and that is the only question i ask myself before releasing new music to the world.

I hope most of the people will enjoy listening to the record like i enjoyed making it."

Autarkic DJ Mix for Turbo Recordings

Ahead of their collaborative album later this year, @Pier-Bucci and @OskarSzafraniec present their first sampler titled ‘Tipico Latino’ featuring a remix by El_Txef_A.

The original of 'Tipico Latino’ features gloomy Spanish vocals as intricate elements are brought in and out of the mix across its nearly nine-minute duration. 

Sinchi favourte @El_Txef_A, whose remix talents have been recruited by Permanent Vacation, Galaktika, Akbal and Culprit, then reimagines the original providing a drawn out intro before exploding into a frenzy of crashing cymbals, animated acid and serene vocal moans. 

His remix being one of the stand out tracks of 2017 for us and one we're sure you'll be having on repeat.

The ninth excellent EP on Blindetonation comes from Columbian pair Juan RMS & Technicalissues with fresh remixes from Curses and Aurum Miles. 

Juan RMS & Technicalissues have been making music together since 2013. Exploring the regions where minimal, house and dub meet and creating exciting new forms as they go, the pair now run their own Lay Down The Groove label. Here they show off their combined skills with a slick new single. 

The brilliantly gritty ‘Indulgencias’ is a chugging track with dumpy drums and wiry, sinewy synths wrapping round the groove. A dark whispered vocal adds libidinousness as it rolls on, grows in intensity and mesmerises you as it goes. 

The first remix comes from Curses, the dark and romantic moniker from New York City native Luca Venezia who mixes up shades of Italo, electronic music and rock and roll. This essential version is more percussive, with slapping hits and tin pot rattles all underpinned with stabbed bass and spaced out synths. 

The remixes are completed  by Lithuania producer Aurum Miles, an artist who plays guitar, keyboards, drums and synths and makes electronic music infused with elements of rock. He was part of short live pair BlowEnder and now solo once more flips the track into a perfectly menacing and snaking tune with low slung bass and inhuman sound effects. 

This is a terrific trio of visceral disco cuts that are stuffed with masterfully designed details.

Lithuania's @roedeers joins the series featuring lots of new music coming from friends,  2 upcoming tracks on Nein from the man himself.  He's fast becoming a favourite of ours and  this uptempo mix is perfect for the early summer season.

1)Who are you?

My name is Liudas, I’m 26 years old and I live in Vilnius.  I've been DJing since I was 12 years old and I've been running the Roe Deers project for 4 years.

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months? 

Signed 9 Roe Deers EP’s for 2018, started a new project called “Bad Habits” with my friend Titas and met a lovely lady called Bete.

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year? 

I have a new Sulk Magic Ep and later EP's on Omnidisc, Rotten City Records and Nein Records. Plus a few more I want to keep secret for now. You'll also see a bunch of remixes and edits.
