A few weeks ago, we were touring Australia for Parklife. TIGA was closing our stage every night, in front of 10,000 kids ready to rumble with him, to get wrestled to the ground.

And, as usual, he throws out his secret weapon, "TALK TO ME". The crowd explodes. That’s when I ran onstage screaming, "T-Dawg, what's that sound????"

The only reply I got was a big, creepy grin... Merci!

One late night, on the narrow streets of Melbourne, TIGA and I went out for a little boogie with the Bang Gang squad. Our Aussie friends know how to look after us. We spent the night at Sorry Grandma!, the hottest club in town, drinking Rave Juice and trying to understand drunk Aussies’ sub-English accents.

I knew it was the perfect time to ask TIGA about that insane track he was playing. Ask a drunk man something and you'll get everything you need. Everything.

"HEY TODAY!" he said. "Wait, the German guys responsible for "If I Was Wonderwoman" a few years ago?" I replied.

"Can I have another Rave Juice, P?" he replied to my reply. Nice.

Anyway, I now knew it was some Germans who did that Herbie Hancock-meets-LFO track!

I never gave up. We were back from OZ, me in Paris, TIGA in Montreal, iChatting like we often do. And that little "Transfarts" window pops up on my screen!

"TALK TO ME" became the highlight of my DJ set, the moment where you see stars in the eyes of the crowd’s head. Not only it is my favorite track of 2010, I even had the chance to remix it! 

What the hell can you do with such a monster tune? Make something harder? Impossible. Make something better? Not possible. Make something faster? The opposite of possible. Make something stronger? The train has pulled out of Possibility Town. I wanted something deeper, more mental, bringing two worlds together, Detroit and Rotterdam.

Exploited Club warmly welcomes back Mexican talent Levantine who follows up his previous Acid Infatuation EP on Exploited Club with another dose of his trademark sound: a deft interweaving of Eurodance and Italo - this time with the addition of a some sultry Spanish vocals.  

The backbone of 'Adicción De Amor' is a kit of rich, full spectrum drums that land with seismic force. They form a stout foundation for the track while a climbing, dynamo synth riff loops through over the top and a delicate spoken vocal floats with a contrastingly subtlety touch.

A fervid tension continues to course as high frequency FX and drum fills are expressively scattered and splashed before an Italo remix provides another side to the coin.

Slightly slowed and stripped back, the energy marches toward a spacious breakdown that creates a void for the vocals before the burly drums bite back with full force and an LFO sends the synth line flickering like a strobe throughout the conclusion of a classy record that melds retrograde synthesis with sharp, punchy sonics.

Exploited Club warmly welcome in Pleasure Voyage who step up to the plate and do as they do best: casting out a wide musical net, gathering in influences from Breaks, House, Disco, Balearic and Funk whilst pulling in a hefty dose of fun, flair and ecstasy to boot.

'Cuánto Cuesta' is a simmering pot of pure joy. A bubbling bass line has the track on a low boil throughout while luscious, buoyant synths intimately jostle alongside bold but allaying piano chords. Classic breaks snap in the back while a gently acidic lead flexes in and out of focus and the resultant groove sends out a clear and cosy invitation to get loose.

A regular on Johannes Albert's Frank Music's label and Tensnake's True Romance, Claus Casper chips in with his 'No Tengo Dinero' remix - a fortified revision that packs an extra punch with a layered snare, cow bells and an open hat that seasons the groove with a little bite and snap.

Rolling snare fills punctuate the track as Claus creates ramps for sections that showcase his indisputable chops on the keys. The passion and heat of the orignal remains intact as progress tumbles towards a long, spine-tingling breakdown that pops wide open in a manner that will send the floor absolutely nuts.

Butch’s unmistakable music has always worn the influence of disco proudly on its sleeve. Both his mega-hit No Worries and his first contribution to the Running Back catalogue, Desire, are essentially modern-day disco records. The same goes for his return to the label with Glory Night—perhaps even more so, thanks to its vintage engineering and authentic aural treatment. Equipped with the genre’s signature sounds and arranged like a lost disco edit from the late ’70s, Butch applies the lotions and potions that today’s dancers demand, creating one of those peak-time sensations that make him unique—complete with confetti, a firecracker breakdown on top, and an extra rhythm section bonus tool included. Just Chill and Just Fly continue that narrative. While the first appeals to fans of R&B or funk samples (though no recordings were harmed in the process), it is catchy as hell and creates an inescapable maelstrom. Following GHEIST’s Searching Places EP, which drew acclaim for its original tracks and remixes from Mark Hoffen, Oliver Koletzki, and Unfazed, this partnership marks a new chapter of artistic synergy.

"This track is the most special one for me so far," shares 8Kays. "It was born from hearing a spectacular and profound idea from GHEIST, which immediately inspired me to start working on it, incorporating a live piano performance and the arrangement I wanted to embrace with the sound I produced. Later, GHEIST shaped the project into the final version we hear today: a tender and emotionally deep piece of music that I am truly grateful to be part of."

Flowers & Guns merges GHEIST’s textured, dramaturgically rich electronic approach with 8Kays’ signature melodic depth and eloborate arrangements, weaving shimmering synths, rounded basslines, and live piano into a soundscape both expansive and intimate. There’s a certain grace in consistency - and few embody it quite like Phil Evans. As the founder of Pager Records, he’s quietly shaped the sound of contemporary House with a signature blend of warmth, precision, and forward-thinking groove. Over the years, Evans has turned Pager into a breeding ground for refined producers such as Vitess, Christian Sarde, and Tiago Walter, but "E-Motions" feels like his defining statement: a double LP that doesn’t just compile tracks, but unfolds as a full-scale listening experience - equal parts club weaponry and emotional introspection.

The A-side closes with “Eazin”, a tribal-tinged Deep House cut that merges shimmering synths with hypnotic percussion.
