Up & coming Mexican producer @inigovontier lands on Turbo with some super-spiced, bass-heavy electro.

Following releases on labels like La Dame Noire, Nein and Correspondant, Iñigo Vontier’s solo career is catapulting him beyond the Latino frontier. Creator of tropical electronic act Salon Acapulco, one half of Sonido Fantasma, and cofounder of label Mix Le Fun, Iñigo has become one of the key players in Mexico’s rapidly evolving music scene.

For this breakthrough solo effort, he lays down bass heavy, punchy electro, starting with the lazer-blasting ‘Zu Zu Zu,’ continuing on the EBM-influenced ‘Whisp!’ and culiminating with the darkly epic ‘Furia’ which also gets the remix treatment from LA duo Split Secs.

A double combo debuting at Sanfuentes Records: Argentina’s dance floor legends Djs Pareja together with Cologne’s most recent jackmaster Bryan Kessler, presenting:
Djs Pareja & Bryan Kessler “Detona” EP.

Both parties coming in hot from their last releases at Cómeme and Numbers, decided to join forces and do an Ep together, specially made for Sanfuentes Records.
And wow, did they deliver :D

“Detona” (to detonate) opens the Ep in a relentless way, with a rhythm that swallows everything around, pushing and pushing and then pushing some more.

“Shu Shu” is where things get dirty and hi-hats are unleashed like flying knives over our heads. 
Also take a listen to the flip side, where we bring in our household rhythm smith Mijo to remix “Shu Shu” in his inimitable style.

And then, the cherry on top: “Ramp and Rage”. Just release this train of a track in front of a 4am audience with a proper sound system -maybe throw a little strobe light in the mix- and let it do it’s thing. Dog barking samples included.

Phantasy Sound regulars Cowboy Rhythmbox return to the imprint this November with three esoteric cuts entitled ‘Terminal Madness’.

After solid releases throughout 2018 from Daniel Avery, Ghost Culture, James Welsh and Red Axes to name a few, Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound return with a triple pronged battle weapon from Cowboy Rhythmbox that takes in inspiration from a wealth of disparate elements; the brutal drum machine swagger of early Chicago house, the murky world of 1980's video arcades, the bleeps of Sheffield, arcane home computing documentaries recorded to VHS, public access TV.

‘Terminal Madness’ is a quirky track about the paranoia surrounding artificial intelligence, inspired by early Dance Mania releases and broken pocket calculators amongst other things. ‘Hands Inside The Car’ then deploys a wonderful eccentric atmosphere through a deadpan vocal hook that wraps itself around a killer combination of sub bass, freestyle beats and deranged reversed elements.

‘Vodonik’ finishes with a stark, glacial rave beast, very much a reaction against Cowboy Rhythmbox's usual maximal approach. This is stripped-down-to-the-bone body music that will work in the most cavernous of rave palaces or the most intimate seedy basement club.
