Matas Bernotas or @Mountak came a long way. From being an active member of Lithuanian music forums while playing Breakbeats under Matthew Glow moniker to crystallising his sound and actively contributing to DJ crew and party series Tarp Dviejų Aušrų. Did we mention he’s also a member of Berlin Bass Collective? The group is responsible for spreading House music around Berlin in a form of wild dances and spreading House music around the world in a form of a music label. Mountak has both of these activities under control – whether he’s playing at the legendary Watergate club or releasing his first track on Berlin Bass Collective imprint.

Did you know @itsrosh. used to host an automotive based phone-in show? Neither did we. Apparently it was the stations most complained about show, with over 100+ complaints racked up with the UK communications regulator Offcom every month. There was no way the station were going to cut a show running those sorts of numbers. For this edition of Radio Turbo, R.O.S.H. decided to hand an episode of his much hated broadcast. We asked him why he gave it up, he shouted, "They wouldn't give me the bloody drive time slot!"

Techno live performance special created for project of VJ Emiko- "Reality Acces" performed on Audio Visual Digital Art Festival FOTONICA 2020. It's a improvisation created on modular synthesizer and external hardware setup.

Turbo Recordings was founded by Tiga in Montreal back in 1998. In addition to launching his own career, the label has been integral in the success of acts like Chromeo, Gesaffelstein, Duke Dumont and most recently, ANNA & Charlotte de Witte. Core talent includes ZZT (Tiga's collaboration with Zombie Nation), Jori Hulkkonen, BETON, Clouds, Harvard Bass, Pilo, Shaded, Dimitri Veimar and a host of new young producers in genres ranging from pure techno, electro, and house to pop. The list of artists who have released music on the label is a veritable 'who's who' of top-level talent spanning a broad musical range, and this, along with a commitment to beautiful design, has earned the label respect in the industry and a cult following among fans. 

“We started out singing into plastic bags and shipping them to stores as quickly as possible. Later, we discovered that vinyl sounds way better when delivered by kayak. I learned so much the first few years…Now, as I look towards the future, I can envision music for poor people, sonic odors for the hearing impaired, even MP3s for women....Vroom, sucka!” says Tiga, the lyrical lampsman lighting the way down Dance Avenue.
