Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg deliver something a little different with their next collaboration, ‘You Know’.  Unlike their recent Drumcode release, ‘You Know’ is a deep house killer that will appeal to new and old fans alike. Using a number of melodies within both the bass line and melodic synth that sits at the back of the mix, these two elements harmonise together smoothly and create an ear catching juxtaposition that will get the dance floor rocking before the vocal roars over the track.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Paride Saraceni’s debut Truesoul release, ‘Burning’, brings us three uplifting and vocal-heavy tech house tracks. A steady groove throughout, Saraceni’s choice of instrumentation and flowing percussion create a melodic yet techy release with all three tracks laced with a solid kick drum, tinkering high hats and sporadic vocals. ‘Burning’ is is the perfect offering for the new year and proves there are big things on the horizon for Saraceni.

Layton Giordani makes his Truesoul debut with a pumping, three track release. The high energy tracks showcase Layton’s youthful and fresh approach to production. ‘Unspoken’, holding a pounding kick drum and thumping techno sound, is the heavier of the three tracks whilst ‘Misunderstood’ and ‘Trusting You’ cut a lighter groove. The samples are uplifting, sounds imaginative and the percussion is tight - this EP is not to be missed.

We welcome back Noir to Tronic for his second release this time teaming up with Olivier Giacomotto. “Reste” is a track that focuses on a hypnotic arpeggio and a fat analog bassline. We also have a remix courtesy of Dubai’s finest, Raxon. He reworked the track elegantly giving it his trademark sound and groove.

Turbo Recordings was founded by Tiga in Montreal back in 1998. In addition to launching his own career, the label has been integral in the success of acts like Chromeo, Gesaffelstein, Duke Dumont and most recently, ANNA & Charlotte de Witte. Core talent includes ZZT (Tiga's collaboration with Zombie Nation), Jori Hulkkonen, BETON, Clouds, Harvard Bass, Pilo, Shaded, Dimitri Veimar and a host of new young producers in genres ranging from pure techno, electro, and house to pop. The list of artists who have released music on the label is a veritable 'who's who' of top-level talent spanning a broad musical range, and this, along with a commitment to beautiful design, has earned the label respect in the industry and a cult following among fans. 

“We started out singing into plastic bags and shipping them to stores as quickly as possible. Later, we discovered that vinyl sounds way better when delivered by kayak. I learned so much the first few years…Now, as I look towards the future, I can envision music for poor people, sonic odors for the hearing impaired, even MP3s for women....Vroom, sucka!” says Tiga, the lyrical lampsman lighting the way down Dance Avenue.
