A Little Motion

1980's inspired nostalgia. 
Co produced with my wife, Olivia Grant, as she recommended for me to change the original lead guitar part so it is more melodic and not loads of notes played in your face. I think it worked for the better.

1904, March 27, Genoa.
It is said that by studying well and taking advantage by the direction and strength of the wind, Étienne Bugnion that day, at Ponte Carrega, had scored Juventus a goal from the middle of the field.
Will it be true?
It matters little. It was the only goal in the final of the italian national football championship (senior category). The Genoa Cricket and Foot-ball Club was taking its third consecutive title, winning therefore also (and definitely) a silver cup put up for grabs by its president, George Fawcus, and to the same entitled. Very nice - you can see the remembrance photo (a bit touched up, you can tell); the gentlemen posing are footballers and are holding on to it, but to be honest there was little risk of that the cup would end up in different hands.
Of seven national trophies awarded until then, only one did not show itself in the Genoa's FC trophy museum; twelve games at all since 1899, six titles won. How many clubs in the world can boast such an average?
At its dawn in Italy, it was skimpy football, a game that few could really play.

The song was composed by Manuel. I slightly arranged and mixed it, and wrote the related story.

In response to recent global events, I've decided to create a nine-piece album that reflects my experiences amid the ongoing turmoil and uncertainty. As narratives shift with each passing moment and the currents of consciousness evolve, I've found a way to express my perspective and contribute a legacy of unity and love through the language of music. Collaborating with my favorite musicians – Shayan Fathi, Ivan Ruiz Machado and Antonio Moreno Glazkov – has transformed what might seem like a simple concept into a realization with both personal and global significance.

I’'ve titled this album "Between Hope and Despair" to encapsulate the spectrum of these two emotions, allowing me to delve into the very essence of creativity and explore the origins of my ideas. Through their exceptional musicianship, sensitivity, and maturity, my chosen collaborators have elevated this project, emphasizing the profound connection that music can foster in a world yearning for compassion and understanding. In essence, it's an exploration of the human experience set to a soundtrack that aims to resonate with a hungry world seeking solace.
