This song was written during the time of the global outbreak, the big pandemic COVID-19, aka “corona virus". This song speaks about the importance of personal practices and safe practices in a adaptive state within all environments. This song also speaks about tapping into our inner selves and channeling that peaceful wisdom we all poccess through deep whakapapa(Genealogy), ha(Breathing) and whakaaroaro(Mindfulness). Be it in a chaos environment, a hyperactive mind, an unsettling gut or uncertain thoughts, feelings and emotions, It’s musical purposes was intentionally written to help someone block out all the noise and to just listen inwards for a moment, to allow the sounds of nature and harmony to embrace their spiritual, emotional, mental and physical being. There is a whakatauki that reads, "Whatungarongaro te tangata, toitu te whenua", which in summary means, as humankind perishes, the land beneath us remains. So regardless of what you do, how you do it and why you do it, the value in which you serve to others is paramount. Enjoy!
