Queen T or Turiya Dawn Brings a new sound. A fusion of genres. And a breath of fresh air to Pop music. She effortlessly wraps (and occasionally raps) a unique fusion of reggae, dancehall, pop, and dance music, plus a little bit of magic and a little bit of soul, around spiritually-conscious lyrics and messages. She was raised between the islands of Hawaii and New Zealand, and then the Humboldt and Mendocino mountains of Northern California before she made her way down to Hollywood. For a lot of her early childhood, she was far removed from mainstream music. Her Music Education Started with the music and songs written and made in the backyard and supplemented by the Cassette tapes of George Micheal, The Beatles and Joni Mitchell her mom brought with them from Hawaii to New Zealand.  When she moved Back to America in her teens, She found herself in Northern California, Where Roots and Reggae were and are the Prominent sound, This deeply affected her life and musical sound. Later, as She travelled the world and lived in some of Americas top music cities, Los Angeles, CA,  New York City, NY,  and then Austin, TX,  She was exposed to and absorbed all genres and artists. She Currently resides in Topanga, CA.
