when I fought him, I couldn't help but think the song was so sorrowful and beautiful. Then I read about it and my jaw dropped. Rest in peace Seth, your bossfight was my favourite from the game.

The title is from Walt Whitman's poem of the same name which he wrote after the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. It is for a large string orchestra. Elegy is a beautifully reflective and highly emotional work, subtitled, "In Memoriam".
The stark contrast of emotion portrayed in the music is simply breathtaking, from the calm, sombre opening, which builds to a most powerful outpouring at its height, before returning to the soft yearning of heartfelt grief at its poignant conclusion.
