Shika Shika is very proud to present the new album of one of our co-founders 

Fulgor is the deepest movement in Barrio Lindo´s discography until today. Produced in the last two years on constantly tour around Europe and South America. 
In his third album, Agustín Rivaldo is strongly inspired by the humanity and the way that people connect through dance and the body in many different ways. 

Barrio Lindo celebrates his third album with special featuring for second time argentinean band Weste and producer Jin Yerei, german producer and composer Andi Otto, ecuatorian band Huaira and sax player Grabiel) 

The musical inspiration cames once again from Southamerica. After his second album “Albura” (2017), Rivaldo works with rhythms from the last century like argentinean Murga, ecuatorian San Juanito, brazilian Chocalho, and centroamerican Reggeaton. The sound of the album has a big presence of metals and springs sparkling in a dark ambient. His use of synthsizers predominate in this nighttime universe that Fulgor cross.

Shika Shika is proud to present “Rwandance” the second album by German multi-instrumentalist Andi Otto. Anyone that has had the opportunity to see Andi’s live performance knows about his talent as cellist and was no doubt blown away by his self-made device, the “Fello” - a sensor-extended cello bow.

“Rwandance” sees And move into new territory - born out of a meeting between And and Rwandan musician and dancer Evariste Karinganire, while collaborating for the music of dance piece Planet Kigali.

“The idea was to first listen to a music archive of songs and instrumental recordings of instruments from Rwanda. Then I tried to transform this material into my own sound. I was mesmerised from the very first moment when I heard this beautiful language: Kinyarwanda alongside these instruments like the Umuduri a percussive bow instrument, and rhythmical structures, like the 5/4 and 3/4 feelings which are the basis of many songs.”

Andi has a talent for using technology in a way that is touching and touchable, enticing out warm and organic tones from his machines. On “Rwandance” this sensibility enters into a perfect dialog and harmony with the traditional Rwandan rhythms. His break away from the traditional 4/4 structures of electronic music is not only refreshing but full of groove.

"Planet Kigali“ was premiered at Kampnagel in Hamburg at the end of 2018:

"Planet Kigali“ is about a bunch of time-travellers who come back from the future to our present year. They remember that there had still been borders and passports in 2019, a fine, utopian plot… and they represent a hypothesis of what aspects of Rwanda’s cultural tradition could look and sound like in 200 years. The time-warp makes it possible to shift the focus away from the topic of the country’s horrible genocide. Instead of investigating a post-traumatic society, the piece tries to jump ahead to the future and to the past simultaneously. Between old memories or recordings and our dreams, fears or expectations of the future.”

From a positive and happy music full of love and energy, I made a melancholic and relax music. Originally made to go with landscape and aerial images, I finally release it the day of the death of the grand master, as i just finished it last week.
Making this, I got hundreds of times the opportunity to feel the power and energy of this voice while I was removing the groovy shape enabled by the original music to something binary and cold.
So finally, this will be my homage to an artist who has been at the origin of musical courants which are today at the leading edge of music.
A master who was not afraid to mix ancestral music with modern music production.
A master who highlighted his culture on the biggest stages with the most successfull artists.

SONIKGROOVE es todo un referente de la escena World Electronica y Global Bass de Barcelona. Rodolfo Venegas (aka Sonikgroove) es un DJ y productor colombiano, afincado en la ciudad condal, cuyas sesiones están cargadas de bajos contundentes, ritmos ancestrales y sonidos espaciales, mezclando géneros como Electro Cumbia, Afro House, Brazilian Beats, Oriental Grooves…
Su sonido combina elementos orgánicos del folklore tradicional con música
electrónica, creando paisajes sonoros atemporales y exóticos, que son el sello de los eventos que organiza bajo el nombre Gozalow. 
En Octubre de 2019 tuvimos el placer de tenerlo con nosotros en nuestro evento "NAUA - Summer Closing", donde rompió la pista y se metió en el bolsillo a todos los que gozábamos de su hipnótica sesión.  
A finales del 2020 lanzó un nuevo EP "Travesía", donde crea y expone su rico universo sonoro!!! 
Y nosotros felices una vez más de poder compartir el arte de este querido amigo, quien desde ya hace un tiempo entró a ser parte de nuestra familia NAUA!!! Os dejamos con "FAMILY AFFAIR"...

Eclipse es el nombre del álbum más reciente de Looprana, que destaca en el mundo de la música electrónica por sus técnicas de producción análogas, el rescate de las sonoridades étnicas y naturales tanto del Wallmapu como del resto del mundo. Éste álbum consolida lo mejor de un arduo trabajo de dos años el cual busca llevar al oyente por un viaje sensorial de transformación, admiración por la majestuosa marcha de los astros solar y lunar, quienes con su danza cósmica nos han invitado a mirarnos hacia dentro como individuos y como colectivo, como a su vez desde ahí hacia nuestro entorno, hacia nuestra tierra y raíces. Eclipse solar en mapudungun se denomina Lhan antü que tiene como significado la muerte del sol. Una muerte transmutadora que nos invita a renacer en el espíritu y a dejar las pesadas cargas que atan nuestro mundo sutil. En sus sonidos y paisajes se encuentra un mensaje de paz, de profundo amor a la tierra y de una ancestralidad latente, urgente.
Eclipse está compuesto por 11 temas que enlazan el estilo downtempo con los matices psicodélicos del psychill. En la producción musical destaca la colaboración instrumental de Dhanvantri dub con sus tablas hindú y de Salta drums con su hang drum. Además, desde el arte gráfico en el diseño, portada y contraportada destaca el trabajo de los artistas Xilango y Julietademarte.
