Following on from the excellent support gained from his competition winning track 'The Kick Test' which was championed by Darius Syrossian, EMEXL delivers this two track monster release in 'On The Dancefloor' which is released 27th July.

The lead track 'On The Dancefloor' intertwines a catchy vocal and melodic driving beats along with some classic organ vibes providing a nod to some of the best loved House classics.

'The Wibbler' is a fun and fresh dance floor vibe that delivers a thumping beat to perfectly compliment the arp synth led hook.

‘Shine (This Is It)’ is the first single from Soul Clap’s self-titled second album that features legendary vocalist Nona Hendryx. After Ray met Charles and Eli when all played at LA party institution A Club Called Rhonda this happened..!

Nona Hendryx is an original member of the trio Labelle who’s smash single “Lady Marmalade” is a timeless classic. Her solo singles “Transformation” and “Do What You Wanna Do” from the 80’s are equally prolific to her work as a back-up vocalist for a laundry list of legendary acts including Parliament-Funkadelic, Talking Heads and Peter Gabriel.

There is magic contained in ‘Shine (This Is It)’ and the strength in Hendryx's vocal empowers our sprits and moves us on the dancefloor. Midnight Magic’s Morgan Wiley delivers an outstanding keyboard solo and fellow bandmate Jason Disu teams up with Kalí Rodríguez and No Regular Play’s Greg Paulus to form the Soul Clap horn section.

Taking the magical vocals, horns and keyboard solo from the original, Ray Mang gives it a latin house twist adding an elevating Rhodes motif, bass and battery. Presented here in three versions on 180gram vinyl.

Irishman @jimmyrouge of @orangetreeeditsrishman fame joins the Razor-N-Tape team with a 2-track EP of bumping edit heat. On the A-side “So Long” flips a cheeky hook over a rubbery bass-line, with tension-building synth interludes that release into an ear worm of a vocal riff. On the flip, “Movin’” is a deep uptempo burner with piano stabs, rhythmic guitar plucks and an unstoppable groove. RNT takes it back to their OG format of a single track per side, running loud and proud…one listen to these belters and you’ll see why!
