Are you familiar with sun-kissed laidback house from Poland? If not, let us introduce Marcin Krupa, one of the most respected house digger from Warsaw. He has been setting the Polish dance music scene ablaze for roughly a decade now, distilling his vibes all over the country. His distinctive musical touch oscillates between pumpy house beats and bouncy disco cuts. A lot of people describe it as a gleaming ode to sunshine, pool parties and long-awaited summer vibes. The man has already proved over and over again that he is able to do more than two things at the same time; besides being an incredibly talented producer, he is also known as Astropical Tapes head honcho, a vinyl-only house label that has already welcomed rising djs such as Salary Boy or Ari Bald. But it doesn't stop here, he holds a weekly residency on the digital waves of Radio Kampus, streaming worldwide every Saturday. Last but not least, he is half of "wants" with his pal Kacper P, a duo through which he can devote himself to harder grooves, exploring bass and broken beats. It's certainly not a mere coincidence if you saw him on crispy line-ups along with artists like Catz 'N Dog, XXXY or Mall Grab.

The eighth chapter of the Apparel Wax saga brings with it, as always, a multitude of sounds and suggestions. The masked producer always manages to renew himself, bringing something new and special to each record but always remaining faithful to his musical line. APLWAX008 will be released in January and consists of four tracks: the first is a track with a very marked dynamics and is characterized by a solid rhythm section, a bass line that recalls the UK garage, vocal samples and a beautiful harmonic evolution produced by evolving chords. The second track, A2, winks at Jazz and Soul with a production rich in rhythmic virtuosity, keyboard solos and an almost hypnotic vocal loop while the second side starts with B1, which takes us back to an imaginary dancefloor with a powerful beat and airy disco chords. The EP closes with B2 that softens the tones giving a more intimate, classy and deep end, with references to Funk and R&B. In short, an EP that touches many genres while remaining compact as a whole. Another small masterpiece of production and music selection by Apparel Wax.
