ACUD taktet seinen ersten Langzeitspieler mit dem erfrischenden Lied Supermarkt auf!
Der Berliner Musiker, bildende Künstler (fast Diplom) und Labelbetreiber Lasse Winkler aka ACUD hat mit Titeln wie MATJESFILET oder VERBRENNUNGSMOTOR auf sich aufmerksam gemacht. Er zeigt, das elektronische Tanzmusik durchaus Humor haben kann, ohne im Klamauk zu enden. Stilistisch schwer einzuordnen, eckt er zeitweise hier und da an Genres wie IndieDance, Downtempo und AcidHouse an. Knarzende Bässe und swingende Rhythmen aus alten Drum-Machines treffen auf warme analoge Synth-Chords und unterstützen seine helle Stimme. Das Mikrofon, immer einsatzbereit, ersetzt seinen Notizblock. Es entstehen knappe, spontane Schlagwörter, Sätze, den Alttag aufschnappend. 

Die nun erste Single seines im Februar 23’ erscheinenden Albums VERDAMMT NOCHMAL beschäftigt sich mit den einfachen Dingen des Lebens: Supermarkt. Dieses Mal ist es aber kein Matjes, den er sich im besagten besorgt. Nein, jetzt wo der hohe Sommer vor der Tür steht, steigt sein Bedarf an Zitronen und Quark- immer Garant für den von ihm besungenen guten Tag. Dass diese Single sich in Bauch und Beine spielen wird, ist nicht nur den warmknarzenden Beats, die noch jeden aus dem Bett schleifen würden, und dem klaren Optimismus seiner Stimme gegeben. Auch das einhergehende Musikvideo, in dem u.A. die Schauspielerin DEBORAH KAUFMANN (Dark) zu sehen ist, zeigt auf, dass ACUD mit Single und Platte wieder und jetzt so richtig da ist!

Originating from Brighton, UK and currently based in Belfast, Gregg Holmes AKA Fingerman has moved between styles ranging from Techno to House before finding his feet with Disco for the last decade. He set up a vinyl residency at the legendary Casablanca Jazz club spinning strictly extended disco twelves which led to his own DJ friendly edits surfacing on Soundcloud and Bandcamp.

His editing style soon caught the ears of many respected DJs on the scene such as Dimitri in Paris and Greg Wilson (who has charted Fingerman edits consecutively for 5 years even to the point of releasing a few of them on his own vinyl imprint A&R edits)

Fingerman set up his own record label “Hot Digits Music” in 2014 and has been releasing tracks and remixing on labels such as Tropical Disco, Samosa Records, Re-Loved, Paper Records, Chopshop, Midnight Riot, Masterworks, Hotbox Boogie, Wall Of Fame and Discodat. 

Hot Digits Music alongside vinyl only offshoot “Wax Digits”, has been placed at the coveted number one slot on Juno Download on many occasions releasing up and coming, established editors and original artists such as Dr Packer, Hotmood, Late Nite Tuff Guy, OOFT!, Situation, Get Down Edits, C. Da Afro, Andy Buchan, P-Sol and Melon Bomb to name but a few.

Good Custard Mixtape 110: The Funk Assassin

Suara fest, It was one of those events that leaves you buzzing for days. 

I played a two hour set that flew by in a blur of beats and bodies in motion. I hit record at some point, hoping to capture even a fraction of that feeling. 

They wanted more, so we pushed on for another hour, venturing into that rare, uncharted territory where exhaustion meets ecstasy. That third hour... there was something different in the air. This set is that moment - unpolished, but alive with the raw energy of that night.  

If it moves you even half as much as it moved us on that dance floor, I'll consider myself lucky.

Этот сэт рождался долго :) Тестили, учитывал обратную связь, тонкие моменты по музыке, чтобы не было лишнего и что может подойти большинству в разные моменты. 

Пришёл к выводу, что важна мягкая музыка, медленного темпа, потому что темп у всех разный и лучше сэт будет фоновой подложкой, поддерживающий  чувственность, тонкость восприятия и наслаждения. 

Опробовано уже на нескольких парах! Просто включаете в любом месте и поехали!
